My new bike, what you guys think?
that's so sexy i want it :(
My new bike, what you guys think?
Wait, does the L means learners license? You get to use sports bike with learners license? I jelly.
You'd be surprised that is only a 50cc bike, still pulls though. I'm getting an SV650S in October.
Wait, that thing is a tzr50? I thought it was one of those older r6ses. Something about it did look fishy... :v: Also: Jamie from mythbusters has one sweet buell
Still cool though, here we are limited to mopeds.
We have no limits here to learners, but I think I will still be getting a 125cc bike to learn on. I want to start on something with not too much power so I can really get a feel for it before moving up. Also, cheapness.
My new bike, what you guys think?
Yamaha TZR if I'm correct? If so, you've done the same thing as me: Buy a sport moped that's between your legs. Fucking awesome. Speaking of which, my DNA is still at the dealer's as I've decided to give it a proper maintenance. New tires, fixed wiring, engine checkup, the lot. Hopefully it will come back good as new when the thaw had its way with the snow here :v:
I don't ever remember having a learners license for motorcycle, I just took a class at the local college when I turned 16, I had never driven a motorcycle on Friday and on Monday I had a full license, that was 10 years ago though, and it took me that long to actually buy a bike of my own. Anyone have a recommendation for a rear stand? I lubed my chain once by rolling it forward a few inches, spray, repeat. Never again. 2009 Kawasaki EX650
http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com/Categories.bok?category=Pit+Bull%3ARear+Stands ?
I've seen pitbull, I guess I was wondering if there are decent ones that are closer to $50.

I want to get a cheap ninja 250 and mess around with it. I've never owned a motorcycle before.
I want to get a cheap ninja 250 and mess around with it. I've never owned a motorcycle before.
Do it.
If you get a good 250 and don't drop it you can sell it for just about as much as you bought it. I paid a little extra to buy a ninja 250 for 2000. But I sold it 4 months later when I thought I was ready to move up to my CBR 600 for 2000 again. So all I lost was the notary fees.
I can't afford it any time soon, i'll have to get a job first. I was actually planning on it a little while back and had some money saved up, but made the mistake of buying a new pc instead. Computers are fucking boring after 10 years of constant use.
Paid $800 for my GS500. Hell, all my leathers cost more than the bike lol.
Saving up money for a Ninja myself too. The good ones here costs about $6000. Unless I get a Yamaha TZM from the 90's which a 1/3 of the price.
I think I never posted this before but my soon to be current scooter/moped/bike/whatsoever. Still waiting though, its a 10+ day voyage across the South China Sea but I saw a Ro-Ro docking at the port this morning so it should be on it and I should hopefully get it by tomorrow. rode a 65 mile ride in 25-28 degree (f)weather, no heated gear and just snow gloves and a set of coverhauls under my jacket. had to stop three times and warm my hands with exhaust, so i could stop them from being painful. visor kept fogging up also. sucked.

I'll try to find one when it comes to time. Cause currently the only ones for sale are either Brand New, or 2010 Ninjas with so claimed super expensive racing muffler.
He's in Malaysia, so prices are gonna be different.
I meant to add 'around here' to the end of that. I wasn't doubting that's what it costs where he is.
Does anyone know of any street legal 2-stroke bikes in the US? I wanna get something like a Yamaha YSR50, but they're really rare.
Debating picking up a sweet looking '09 Ducati Monster I saw on CL. Any input before I consider it further?
xD Got it fixed up just in time to go for a cruise with a mate (that's his VTR250) this afternoon. WHEELIES EVERYWHERE
Can anyone recommend me a good (cheap) dirt bike?
Can anyone recommend me a good (cheap) dirt bike?
Depending on your budget, $1000, Suzuki TS? Yamaha Enduro,DT. $1000-2000 - Suzuki RMXs But if its over $2000++ I would say a Kawasaki KLX

I think the 2 valve per cylinder engine is the better one. That, and maintenance will be a little more expensive than your typical Japanese bike but I've heard Monsters are great bikes and will probably get either that or a Streetfighter in the future.
