Well, I went ahead and paid 1k for a 2002 Xr200. When I went trail riding today the rear tire went flat 40 min into the ride and now I realize how god damned hard it is to find rear tubes for this wack ass rear tire size. 100/100/17"
My TT250 still isn't running. Going to check the timing to see if the chain skipped a tooth when I fixed the oil leak from the cam chain tensioner.
I went for a ride yesterday and got myself lost on the other side of the city, though.

_r4nk: this is Seventh Ave bridge in Bayswater. Coming from the other way to the photo below, it looks like it should make a good jump :v:
When my TT is running again...

Well, i'm now an owner of a ZXR400. The bike sounds awesome, acceleration is very nice, and it really feels just REALLY AWESOMELY BALANCED GOD DAMN IT FEELS SO GOOD AFTER MY EX GSX600F.
Might snap a few pics / vids later
i want 0-100 vids.
Got no helmet cam :(

I'll see if i can strap a regular camera with some duct-tape on the gastank or something :v:

Didn't work :(
Had some more fun on a 4wd track today, starting to get more use to sliding about and controlling it in dirt.

So much for Honda reliability...
Yesterday I take my crf150r to the desert and only 6 hours into the ride, my valve cover blows up and sends a shard of metal into my leg.
Took the ZXR to some twistier roads today. Damn it was fun, but chilly as hell.
I love the bike, just got one problem with it, it has little to no torque on lower RPM, so it's kinda awkward going slowly around a traffic circle or really tight turns.
[editline]16th April 2012[/editline]
Also, for some reason my thumb feels numb whenever i get off the bike. I think it's my new gloves.
Oh well.
Damn. Everytime I want to take my moped out for a spin the weather says fuck you and it starts raining heavily. The last time I took it out for a ride was on Thursday.
afraid of water?
No proper rain jackets. And I don't want to get my clothes wet since I get very uncomfortable if they are.
I highly recommend investing in some waterproof riding gear. It's great being able to ride around and still be completely dry underneath afterwards :v:
I'm actually kinda glad it's coming into winter here in Aus now, because I get to wear my winter gear...
Just buy those plastic bag-things you put over your regular riding gear, and put some under your seat in case of rain.
[editline]16th April 2012[/editline]
Also, tired as fuck. I was riding with my dad and his z500s clutch broke. It's literally stuck. Won't budge at all.
Had to push it home, 6 kilometres. :suicide:
Hey everybody, I am back!
Recently I had done an Enduro in decently southern Illinois. Prepped the bikes up for dirt riding, slipped on the knobbies and had away. Did pretty well for the start of the season.
Anyways, I finally got pictures of the other two bikes. My mistake for the poor quality, they were taken with my phone.
1998 BMW R1100R Custom Painted Cherry Apple Red with Red powdercoated rims, all stock parts.

Then for the superbike.
2008 Ducati 848 Pearl White, all stock except for the Zero Gravity Double Bubble Windscreen.

They are great bike, but their weakness is the valve, and its a motocross, made for track and lot of maintenance, if you want a low maintenance enduro bike with best releability while being not a rock is the husqvarna TE series, husaberg is also beast, yamaha Ttr 250 or wr 450 for long distance, and the suzuki dr-z 400, it has the best relability but its much more of a dual sport, kind of heavy and not the power of a real enduro.

A friend is actually selling one of his dr-z 400's currently, so i might take a look at it and possibly get it if the condition is good enough.
Holy shit, had an awesome ride last night.
Me and a mate were out around midnight messing about, riding on a footpath through this bush area in a park. As we are coming out of the bushy area and into the car park we spot a cop car about 20 metres ahead parked in the car park with its back to us. So we both quickly as fuck turn out bikes off, at this point we are still on the footpath in the bush. We thought that there was no way they couldn't have seen us and had pretty much given up. Then the cop car starts and drives away haha! We wait there for a few minutes and talk about how close to fucked we just were. They didn't hear our bikes or notice our headlights (we both have aftermarket pipes).
So then we ride up into the carpark and notice a red Magna wagon parked in the spot next to where the cops were, but no body was inside. We figured the cop was probably checking out the car. We park up and chat for about 10 minutes, then he mentions something about fuel and I'm like OH SHIT, I had forgotten that I needed fuel. I hit reserve at ~150ks and I had done ~175ks. As I'm trying to work out the closest petrol station so I don't have to walk my bike home, a guy gets out of the passenger seat of the red Magna. He's pulling his pants up and putting his shirt on, he looks about 50+. Being friendly we say "Dude did you see those cops??". He says something like "Yeah I saw them" then mumbles how he bets we are having a good night or some shit. He starts walking around his car getting closer to us (we parked about 3 car spaces away from him), and he starts spurting random weird crazy bullshit. Something about how long satan has been gone from this world but NOW HE'S BACK!!!!!! He then says "Well guess what mother fucker I am G. O. D". Then he starts asking us stuff like "so what the fuck are you gonna do about it? You gonna FUCKING DO ANYTHING CUNT?" and so on. So we are just replying carefully not to aggravate this clearly mentally ill dude, then we put on our helmets and ride away to get some fuel.
You said you had an awesome ride, sounds to me like you didn't do much riding -.-
None the less, some people are, strange, maybe he was fucked on durgs or someshit :S
rode 65 miles home in the rain at 7 am this morning kinda sucked also 45f out.

Its the S model? (Street)
Rode a couple of hours in the rain today. My new leathergloves now feel all stiff... They also smell like wet dog.
God-damnit.
Oh man, my friend is looking into buying an 06 Hornet from a dealer. Has about 18k miles, looks awesome and is about $3900. I really hope he gets it, mainly so I can see how it feels. :D
Its the S model? (Street)
Just the basic off road version.
Just the basic off road version.
Must be E (Enduro) then, they got better carburetor then the other model, s/sm carburetor is designed to make less pollution but also about 5 hp lost.

my bike has lost its head!
My bikes 400 mile mileage when I got it suddenly jumped to 800 today.
I know its been at least 2 months but I'm 100% sure I did not even go more than 50 miles.
So, what's facepunchs opinion on Audi buying ducati?
Killing a piece of italian culture & history? A good thing?

Good thing, look at Lamborghini, they're not killing them either.

I've never been to fond on ducati's design. I only like some of it like the Multistrada and some sport/superbike that I will never know the name.
Probably audi will do something to their design.
