I got this little sucker at home:

It's a KX 85. Not very powerful, but for the first bike, it's sweet. Runs perfect. I'm currently saving up money to buy something way stronger, but i'm unsure if i want a dirtbike again..i'll probably go with an enduro.
Two Stroke 80s are actually pretty powerful. When you hop on a 125 after an 80cc, the only difference you really notice is the size.
And maybe top speed.
on an unrelated note, I passed by a motorcycle wreck today. rider locked up his front brakes while trying to negotiate a curve and ended up sliding into a guardrail. he wasn't wearing a helmet and had to go undergo surgery for serious head and internal wounds.
wear your helmet otherwise you won't last long
update to this story: the motorcyclist died yesterday
Wear your skid lids, kids.
And don't wang your front brakes on going around a bend.

I'm going to buy this real soon. ~750cc

Not that same exact bike, it's a google image.
That's a Ural - Gear Up.
will it be same color at least? :q:
Be very careful when buying a Ural. Keep in mind that the parts from it need to come from Russia. That, and I have heard that the bikes are of sketchy build quality.

Try closer to 197hp (manufacturer claim).
I do like it though, it's a cruiser that isn't hung up in the past, both style and technology wise (not that that's necessarily a bad thing though).

It has a bit of upgrades, so v:v:v
Lookie here what I bought me yesterday for $157

The cluth is a bit fucked though, it hops in at high RPMs, I think the springs and the clutch plates (is it called that?) are bad so I'm gonna get new ones sometime soon.
Waddya think, FP, what should I do with it?
I love me a nice old Fizzy. Assuming that is a fizzy of course
If Fizzy means FS1, then yes :v:
Now that my current project is almost over, as in all I have to do is mount my new exhaust, I need a new one. I'm thinking about buying a CB750 and turning it into a cafe racer.

Saw this sexy beast parked next to the Starbucks today, I know it's a Moto Guzzi but I can't quite identify the model.
I don't know my Guzzis too well, but it looks like a 1200 Sport.
Nevermind, some quick research identifies it as a Moto Guzzi 1200.
My automerge! :argh:
:ninja:
I saw a pretty nice Busa at the golf course a couple days ago. I've got pictures if any of you want/care to see
Aw yeah, got me some new boots:

This should stop be getting any more cuts and bruises on my legs.
Posted this in the "have a cool ride?" thread but seems to be better here.
1971 Kreidler SL, bought for €1000,- + engine revision for €280,- .
50cc of raw winding power, the manufacturer still has the land speed record for 50cc if I'm not mistaken (210Km/h or so), this one goes 50 Km/h (60 downhill :v: ) cause it's restricted but hoping to get my motorcycle license soon, these things will go 110 km/h if you tune them right.
150 if you use "modern" stuff like membrane and modern cylinders.

I'm considering getting a Ural when I turn 17, what horsepower do they usually output because if it's more than 33 I would need to get it restricted.

CAFE RACER HURRR :downs:
CAFE RACER HURRR :downs:
This is actually the way it came out of the factory, with exception of the brakes, I janked those of of the motorcycle version.
Does have the look though, but the sound is why I bought it, the forced cooling has a weird high pitched sound.
Here's the model from '73, but it has the same sound

Here's how they sound if you tune them good:

[editline]10th June 2011[/editline]
Later they got rid of the forced cooling but they somehow got more gearwhine.
I got my lightweight motorcycle license today :buddy:
Took my bike for a spin, it's a 4-stroke 125cc, goes about 110 km/h, superb handling in corners.
Here's a picture.
did you guys have to convince your parents to let you get a motorcycle? mine are completely against the idea of me getting one
