There's probably a perfectly good explanation for that, the machines that use the soda's are connected to a pipe line which is connected to bags of soda, when these run out the soda turns to soda water, you could never even tell the difference with sprite.
You should have gone back and asked for another drink, they would have kindly given you another one.

9 times out of 10 I get fucked up fast food orders. You can't go to a fast food joint without something being wrong with the meal.

Depends on the quality of the fast food place, if they have a shitty message receiving system to the kitchen of course the orders aren't going to accurate.

But I do know what you mean, one time I was at McDonalds and asked for the 5 piece chicken selects meal and got a cheeseburger... :geno:
Aside from that I've pretty much stopped eating at McDonalds for many reasons. ( I'm not a fatso, it's just that I got tired of the shitty food and poorly put together meals. )

I've worked in food service for almost 10 years, and that is completely unacceptable.
It's one thing to eat food while cooking other food, but you don't bite into someone's food and send it out.
Tired doesn't equal eating someone's paid for food.

This is the reason you're supposed to check your bag and go through the food BEFORE you drive away from the window or leave the counter. Every time. No exceptions.
Really, it's worth it to take a good 30 seconds to open what you got, check that everything's on it, and take a sip of your drink, if instead you may end up spending a crapload more time going back to the place once you go home or are driving down the road and you see that you're eating something you didn't order.
