-snip-
I nearly died of laughter at the point where Luke flies straight up into the air out of nowhere.
WOW, Christensen and Portman screwing their lines up brings about more on-screen chemistry than in any point of the prequel trilogy... I felt more affection for them in this than slogging through six hours of their wannabe Shakespearean tragic romance.
Yeah kinda embarrassing for them to break out of character and portray real human beings, though.
Ewan was so into it he reflexively acts like Obi-Wan even when messing up. "I've got a bad feeling about this." :v:

Most of the people in the prequels were good actors but met the wrath of Lucas writing. Except for Jake Loyd. Feel bad that he got picked by that hack fraud George Lucas when the other kids were better actors than him, and it basically ruined his life.
If I were them I'd have kept that shot of C3PO coming over the horizon then tripping over in the final cut. I mean he's a clumsy character, it'd get a few laughs having this sprawling desert, with 2 moons and an epic soundtrack then a clumsy robot just tripping up.
What he's wearing on his face looks like it's from '80s sci-fi movie.
Probably to try and keep the other actors from looking at his eyes and instead focus them on the Jar Jar head. If they look at the actor's eyes, when he's CGI'd up they would be staring at Jar Jar's neck.
Shit, everyone already did funny edits of Ewan McGregor. Ah well. [vid]http://webm.host/09f12/vid.webm[/vid] This is why blooper reals that use greenscreen/bluescreen backdrops are so fun :v:
To me it looks like the prequel actors were having more fun because everything was being filmed in cozy blue screen sets and stuff, and least they were enjoying themselves. I love how loud the explosion and blanks are when they filmed the original movie, that's just badass fucking filmmaking and it isn't really done like that anymore. I beat you actors must have been exhausted shooting in certain locations and in stormtrooper suits and what not. Also exhausted when dealing with Lucas.
I think this is the single greatest edit I've ever made: Previously linked .webm
You should just loop it for a minute or two once you switch to him dancing.
