So Ukraine is full of good deals on interesting antiques. I got this for $20 from a Ukrainian seller. Medieval, probably 16-17th century padlock. I don't think it can be locked but the shackle isn't seized up which is cool.

Back from the dead with something neat.
Got this Excel Xlerator hand dryer yesterday. I was at a local flea market style booth rental junk store, picking up some whole house water filters and a RO system. Decided to walk the isles which normally dont yeild much and I came across this beauty. She was covered in sticker residue, scratches, dirt and looked like a total sandblasting and repaint was in order. It was missing screws, but was wired up with a cord for 110v so I hauled it across the store to the only working outlet and sure enough it fired right up, and got nice and hot and had the expected kickass airflow. I bought it on the spot for $25. Went to the hardware store and bought the replacement allen bolts to put it back together and got it home and cleaned it with 409, alcohol and a magic eraser and 99% of all the scratches and marks came right out. I bought it to install in one of my bathrooms of my commercial building/workshop and these are $400+ new, and I've always thought I'd like one ever since they came out a few years ago.

Today's Goodwill finds. Neat arté from the 80s but most importantly a real nice K-2B flight suit dated 1962 which I got for $8. Prices on these seem to vary but as far as I can tell this is the more desirable model. It also happens to be exactly my size.

Got this great all in one for $35... Generally all in ones are frowned upon by enthusiasts but this thing sounds incredible and it goes LOUD. Great bass. It was fucking hard to get inside though, had to unload it from my truck and carry it in by myself.

1$ for the expanse ship, 2.50$ for the touhou, and 3$ for the strange old wooden horse toy, which overall is a very good deal, and exceptional finds for a salvation army.

Alright so there is almost no electronics thrift shops left in my city... But no worries there is always "trash" and it's FREE... When i say trash i mean literally TRASH, you have to walk around few trash cans and you will find some good shit...
Ok so few weeks ago found these early 2000s LCD monitors, just turned on the black one few minutes ago and it seems to work, the other one needs external 12V 4A power supply. It's also a fancy one, it has a stand and a case made of metal, which i never seen on LCD monitor...

Now to today's trash find, i found this huge box (not this one) which had a lot of random soviet electrical shit in it, but unfortunately it was too heavy for me to carry, so i had to compromise. I took as much as i can fit in my bag... I still kinda regret not going back there the second time.

Lol, I should of specified in my post, but it was in plastic, in box, and even then I gave it a chemical bath before touching it with my bare skin, so I wasn't too worried.
I finally listed that Canon G-III I thrifted for $7. It's currently got a bid of $50 on Ebay.
Went to Goodwill to find a CRT monitor. No luck but I did get this stuff.

Bombay jewelry box for $3. Some kind of nice hardwood. I'll be able to use this for my antique jewelry and smalls that need a little cushioning.

I love brass so much I couldn't leave this nice brass paperweight behind for $1. It was extremely tarnished and took about 4 hours of manual polishing but it came out really nice.

More brass, before & after polishing. Got this 1960s Heyco lamp years ago out of a trash pile and it's been my regular desk lamp for ages. I had to rebuild the socket and the brass was heavily tarnished (as shown). I never bothered polishing it as I didn't think it would really clean up very well but last night I decided to give it a go. One whole can of nevr-dull later and it's almost perfect.
There's a problem, though: as you can see, my phone camera adjusted for brightness as much as it could and it's still whiting out. Even with the dimmest bulb I can find, it's ridiculously bright. It hurts to look in the general direction of the lamp while it's on and, with it 3 feet away from my face on my desk, it's radiating so much heat that it feels like the sun is shining on my cheek.
When I get the time I'm gonna hit up some antique dealers and look for one of those lamps. Ever since I was a kid I thought they looked nice, so I'd say it's about time I got one. I'll probably end up needing to replace the socket or cord like you, but that shouldn't be an issue for me.
They're really great lamps. I recommend an edison-style bulb if you can get your hands on one.

I went through a few different styles of lightbulb before settling on this one. The filament looks really cool and it casts a great, comfy glow.
Problem here is that all the flea markets only sell knockoff designer clothes, cheap mechanical parts and rekt bullshit

I don't know if you would call this an awesome find...but I got an N64 with original cables, Controller, Expansion pak, and 4 games for 30 dollars. I'm kinda pumped up.
That is definitely an awesome find. I am trying to get mine with at least 50 games back from my uncle (loaned it to my cousins a decade ago and they've grown out of it) but he's being a prick about it.
I had an N64 back in the day and as a kid I really regretted selling it to gamestop. I wanted some new games and never played it anymore really so I thought what the hell.
It's pretty fucking cool I got an N64 sitting on my bookcase now...I still got my original fat PS2, I think I might go seek out a PS1.

81 year run for this old Sterling.
Was running good yesterday then suddenly it popped and blew out a ton of smoke and spun down. Seems a bare copper wire melted through an insulated wire and shorted. Coil packs appear to be melted. Gonna see about replacing them but this old fan might be a paperweight from now on.

I have perfect dark, and goldeneye, I never sold them. I also have RE2 and Duke Nukem zero hour coming in the mail. I also had to buy a converter box so i can actual play the damn thing on my tv.
