J, that thing would probably work if you found a power cable for it. Is it a detachable cord or would you have to splice it? I got my chalice all cleaned up: [t]https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/329279019075764227/384108241342169100/image.jpg[/t] Apple juice since I got tired of water and I'm out of wine
I bought a neat dresser at the habitat for humanity black friday sale for 35$ I get home and do some research, and it's a high-end piece from 1972 made of walnut and mahogany

The outlet looks OLD though, i'd probably have to either get lucky at the fleas and thrifts or track one down on Ebay. Unless theres some wizard all in one cable I don't know about.

A lot of 50s standards survived well into the 80s and 90s. Trek is right though - you can cheat on this stuff. The transformers on 50s equipment is always on board rather than part of the plug.
Got my first good find in a long time. Smoke Gray N64, cables but no controller, $19.99. Works great. Included was a copy of mario/duck hunt for nes.
I found some sheet music this past week, mostly from the 1930s. I've got an Al Jolson and the sheet music from Sayonara with Marlon Brando framed. They look great. A stroke of good fortune today as well. I've only had this thing for 2 days, and my mother's husband who is in Minnesota at the moment is near positive he can find a cord for it. Apparently thrifting where he is is stupid cheap when it comes to vintage electronics. I've forwarded him the photo and he'll get digging this week. [t]https://imgur.com/U0zb7Wm.jpg[/t]
If all else fails you can make an adapter for it pretty easily.
Picked these up at Goodwill today: [t]https://i.imgur.com/sOG7gw1.jpg[/t] A Walkman WM-EX102 from 1993 or so w/ some gross Panasonic headphones and a copy of Quake II for the PS1. The Walkman works great, although the only thing I have to test with it is an audiobook that was in there when I got it. No problems with playback or anything at all. $4 for everything!
That quake II is an insane port, how they were able to make it look decent and playable baffles me.

I found a nice clean shareware copy of Quake in a box full of Gospel CDs.
That reminds me of how I found my copy of Quake in a CD bin at a christian thrift store, along with a copy of Nightmare Creatures. A couple minutes after I found them, an employee walked up and started looking through the CDs next to me saying that he needs to check them for anything "satanic".
My copy of Quake was tucked between some shoes in the Women's section of the nearby Goodwill. Same place I found a 2nd gen Kindle and a 35mm Slide Projector. It was a weird section before they moved everything around.
I'm seeing a trend here. What is it with Quake being in totally out of place areas?
I found a complete in box Sonic & Knuckles collection kinda deal for the PC at a flea market completely in the middle of nowhere. Like, the kinda place with a town population under 50 and a flea market that mostly sells livestock and old hand-me-down tools and equipment. Fuckin' Springfield, South Carolina.

I'm guessing not a lot of gamers there. I mean those games were out in the open asking to be snapped up and people kept walking by them. Found some great vinyl at that thrift too, I gotta remember to stop in again when I drive back up home.
I got my copy of quake 4+2+expansions at a thrift shop as well :v:
I got my Quake 1 at a yard sale!
I found my copy of Quake in a box full of country CDs and sewing machine patterns at my grandma's house when I was like 11 or 12.
huge dump of albums, posters, VHS tapes and a navy telescope mk79 off a multi-purpose gun [t]https://i.imgur.com/ITeiNxD.jpg[/t][t]https://i.imgur.com/Wc862UB.jpg[/t] [t]https://i.imgur.com/zLbCHfh.jpg[/t][t]https://i.imgur.com/X45iutu.jpg[/t] [t]https://i.imgur.com/ee54jnp.jpg[/t] [t]https://i.imgur.com/LUI31As.jpg[/t][t]https://i.imgur.com/nuaguYG.jpg[/t] [t]https://i.imgur.com/yAHBygW.jpg[/t][t]https://i.imgur.com/T6WAigX.jpg[/t]

Ill find the case with NO GAME inside of it. Today it was Starcraft and Command & Conquer. The thrift Gremlins know what I'm looking for. Found some great stuff this past weekend. A vintage confectionary tin and Cigar box, along with a nice Smoky Mountains trail map, and a neat looking Las Vegas Pewter collector's spoon. The next thrift after was a goldmine. I found a full set of 5 vintage dinner menus from a defunct cruise line for a dollar. They were buried underneath a pile of magazines. In great shape too! And a Smith Corona typewriter that just needs a little cleaning. And last but not least is an exceptionally tasteful and classy piece of kitchen decor. [t]https://imgur.com/yVR0Ghl.jpg[/t][t]https://imgur.com/LAxVn2x.jpg[/t][t]https://imgur.com/hbVZ6Td.jpg[/t][t]https://imgur.com/SlwZ9rL.jpg[/t][t]https://imgur.com/1ZxPNYA.jpg[/t][t]https://imgur.com/DFulCop.jpg[/t] $18 bucks for the whole haul.
Those dinner menus are cool. The ship was launched in 1947 and scrapped in 1974. [t]https://i.imgur.com/9drbiPy.jpg[/t] I love these transatlantic liners. There aren't enough left. :(
okay so i went to another university surplus sale besides getting a usb dvd drive for $5 and another lenovo monitor for $10, I got this thing for $10 (with all the cables) [t]https://puu.sh/yBo8o/8fc26aa0cd.JPG[/t] so yeah [t]https://puu.sh/yBo9l/fe1c086d88.png[/t] :lick:
I got a few things in the last week. [t]https://i.imgur.com/vdj41pN.jpg[/t] Super Paper Mario Strategy Guide - $0.59 Math Blaster 1: In Search of Spot (just a repackaged Math Blaster! on CD) - $1 LEGO Ramses Return game (complete!) - $1 Kraft KC3 Joystick for Apple II and IBM Compatibles - $2 Amazon Kindle 3rd Generation - $5 2 shirts - $1.69 a piece Kinda shocked the Kindle works as well as it does. I have a 2nd generation that I got at a Goodwill for $15 a few years ago but that was kinda scuffed up and needed a new battery. This one is practically pristine.
Holy shit is that math blaster Man I remember playing that in elementary School
Holy shit is that math blaster Man I remember playing that in elementary School
Wow, what a stupid brain-fart that was. I was thinking "Wow, me too!" but then I remembered I'm an old fart and I was thinking "Math Muncher". :v:
These survived the trip unlike Front Mission 3 (thank fuck)
