When I read the title, I was really expecting some tumblr/reddit/gamergate level bullshit about some 20-ish guy being doxxed by his whatever-gendered sister while steaming a match of League of Dota:Global Offensive. Not a little girl wanting to be helpful by trying to answer a question for his brother because she thinks he forgot where they live.

Streaming is so dangerous these days.

Basically don't become a steamer unless you don't mind getting dox'd.

the slaps feel unwarranted in the sense that they didnt really mean to do anything wrong at all i mean i understand the reaction, and of course it's fucking stupid to give out your info/address, but i mean she's probably very young just really criticizing the unfitting title. they didnt really try to dox themselves

streaming should be restricted to 16 years and older

Someone 16+ will absolutely be suspicious of someone asking for personal information or to download/delete something, children are way too gullible and there's plenty of people who like to prey on children and they'll get the extra kick out of seeing them squirm on cam.
