I guess Im not too bad off, good mids at $5 a gram and hash, blonde and dark, for $20 a gram, just from my in-town hookup that I use when Im too lazy to actually call people for weed or go looking.
Tobacco smoked in conjunction with weed intensifies the high. One of the effects of nicotine. I won't argue about this because I'm too lazy to find my sources, but feel free to look it up if you don't believe me.

Or maybe not, depending on how much tobacco you smoke. If you don't smoke cigarettes (i.e., no nicotine tolerance), then I'm sure you'll notice a significant difference. However, if you smoke cigarettes (I do), you won't notice much of a difference.
It all depends on your nicotine tolerance yeah. I get mad nicotine rushes when I smoke joints because the tobacco I use is rather strong and I've never lit a tobacco cigarette.
Richmond cigarettes are rough mang.
B&H gold are nasty, I had some in a spliff once and it was had so much tar all over the paper and roach.
Well, usually I smoke pure-weed joints. But, when i'm low on weed (considering I only got rolling paper) I prefer to add a little bit of tobacco in my joint.
we call weed with tobacco a joint or spliff not one or the other.
B&H gold are nasty, I had some in a spliff once and it was had so much tar all over the paper and roach.
Agreed, they are quite possibly some of the crappest cigs I've ever smoked.
expensive tho.
we call weed with tobacco a joint or spliff not one or the other.
Same in Dublin, spliff isn't used that much though.
golden virginia
lol spit lickies
Whatevers available and not too shitty. $25 for a gram of green, and good luck rolling a pure hash joint.
I only use a little and I don't like using anything harsh, a lining of Drum Gold or Amberleaf Gold is what I usually use. Also I thought the names spliff referred to the shape, a joint is straight and a spliff is conical. Also everyone praising blunts and frowning at tobacco in joints is funny; blunt wraps are made from tobacco leaves :P If you're rolling it in paper, then I'll let it slide but you better be using low chlorine skins :P
I was reading somewhere a while back that a joint, spliff what ever you want to call it contains about 3x the amount of tar compaired to a fag, is this true? also think it said a solid joint is like 5x as much.

Tar alone isn't what makes smoking tobacco bad for you.

Basically any numbers to do with that are estimations at best, and at worst completely made up. Back on topic, I use amber leaf because it's what I have to hand (I smoke rollies). Don't really think it makes much difference though, I try not to use too much of any tobacco.
I don't even like smoking blunts that much because I think it also tends to detract from the weed taste. Although the last time I smoked one it got me really high, even though I was smoking at least a quarter a day at that point. Im thinking it was the nicotine rush
It doesn't matter. Tar alone isn't what makes smoking tobacco bad for you.
never said it was, just i was wondering where those numbers came from as you only use a small amount of baccy(less than a fag in my case) didn't see where the extra tar would come from, if its true that is.
The extra tar comes from the weed.
The slang is regional. I still don't understand why you would want to smoke a tobacco-marijuana mix...
Beacause it makes the smoke less harsh and it adds flavour to the weed. Nictoine also gives the high a little boost. You waste alot of weed when smoking it pure. With tobacco it will make the spliff burn more evenly and reduce the ammount of wasted weed ;D. FACT* Without tobacco the THC is slowly being vaporised due to the 500 celcius degree heat, With tobacco there will be less wasted weed.
Tobacco mixed with weed only gives a nicotine rush to people with low nicotine tolerance. Oh, it also seems to shorten the high, make it less powerful in the long run and kills the flavour.
Tobacco smoke is HARSHER in my opinion. I can take huuuuuuge hits out of anything with weed in it. But I still choke on cigs once in a while.
Tobacco smoke is HARSHER in my opinion. I can take huuuuuuge hits out of anything with weed in it. But I still choke on cigs once in a while.
If I smoke a spliff then smoke a cig, smoking the cig is like smoking a stick of air.
Tobacco smoke is HARSHER in my opinion. I can take huuuuuuge hits out of anything with weed in it. But I still choke on cigs once in a while.
This. I can take a full bowl from a bong fine, but a medium sized toke from a cigarette kills.
I personally didn't know that Nicotine even produced a high. I guess you learn something new every day. I, like many others on this thread find that tobacco REALLY hurts my throat when I take anything more than a small toke, so the less tobacco the better for me. Whenever I smoke a joint I always have a tickling sensation in my throat in the next week so I try to avoid it and use a bong/vap wherever possible.
Nicotine gives a buzz, not a high
Nicotine gives a buzz, not a high
What exactly is a buzz?
A light high?
For me the nicotine rush gives me this feeling of almost fainting (mostly dizzy) but I don't and probably never will. I've only fainted once when I drank some cup-a-soup at school a bit too fast. :v:
