Never said its not all being taken into consideration. Pretty much though I've gotten the same opinions, some saying to go for it, some saying trucks only. But it just seemed your opinion didn't consider the information I gave- I have a purpose for it. Its all good though.

Bull bars can provide a load of protection to you in collisions. Unfortunately, since it's attached to your vehicle's frame, it can also cause a lot more extra unrepairable damage.
Just don't get a shitty chrome one. No one is going to call you a poser either. I know someone who owns a 2x4 V6 F150 with a brush-guard and no one has said shit to anyone about being a poser. It's pretty commonplace in the Southern United States for people to get stuff like that on their vehicles, though.
