...Are you taking stickfigures from Pivot and coloring over them?Either that or you're using one big line tool.

I made a small tut to do characters like this. It involves circles, and the line tool.
Mhm.Well I can't say I approve, as I'd much prefer you draw these these things by yourself, but do what you will.
But.. I did draw these myself. :l
Realise that your spherical head can't actually be a sphere because the shading on it does not match that of a spherical object.

I had already stated that I'm working on my shading.
But.. I did draw these myself. :l
Without use of the line or circle tool, I mean. It'll take longer and possibly look worse, but you'll end up a better artist in the long run.

Oh, no worries. I do draw on MSPaint. This is just an experimental style I had developed to fool around with to practice my shading as it's... Lacking... Besides, I do not have a tablet at the moment. And drawing with a mouse just doesn't feel right.
You don't need a new "style" to practice shading. And you don't need a tablet either, there's tons of great artists that make due with a mouse, and sure, it might not "feel right" at first, but that's why you practice and adjust to the feeling of it.But I'm straying from the point of the thread, if you want to keep drawing the way you are, that's fine, I'm just trying to give you suggestions to help you improve, since you seem to want to do so.

I know, Spud. I did most of my drawing with guns as that's why I first started out with. And I mainly used the line tool as they were smaller, and required nothing else but either the circle or line tool. The occasional drawing with the pencil happened but not too often. I'm trying to practice shading out of real life, but one MSPaint. I like practicing in the form of an interactive as it gives me many different things to practice with. It's a challenge, because I find that I can never learning anything by reading tutorials, or practicing on just circles. Different objects that don't exactly come into though at first, helps me more.
Thanks though. (:
Tie together some grass to make a makeship rope. never know when your going to need it.
Forget the last one. Pretend the pieces of grass are toys and imagine them fighting off robotic ponies in space. Just to help pass the time incase of an event.
THIS TOPIC IS UNOFFICIALLY DONE!! ROVAR HAS GONE BACK TO HIS MAIN INTERACTIVE!!
