What the fuck is up with today's fashion? [Picture heavy]

seriously, people think 'emo' and 'gangster' are in fashion? maybe like 3 years ago, it's primarily indie style Topman/Burton/Riverisland stuff now
My summer wear is currently my all year round wear.
3 different pairs of shorts, two camo themed and one plain grey.
2 different hoodies, both Ecko Unlimited
and any t shirt I can find that I didn't wear the day before and hopefully isn't too dirty.
also for shoes, I wear black ankle/sports socks and the same pair of vans every day.

Wore it today to school. Nobody fucking cared. I even got compliments on the damn scarf.
Sure it's a nice scarf, but did they not care that you were wearing it to potentially hide your identity? I don't think I'd be allowed to go to class wearing a shemagh worn like this.

OP your clothes are fucking hideous, don't avoid buying fashion items because their fashion items and if you fucking look you can find plain shit. I usually get jeans from Next, they're not the fake ripped kind or the weird stained kind just plain jeans. As for shoes, if you're really having trouble finding all black shoes you're fucking blind
I don't take fashion advice from people who wear camo.
Also it's really fucking easy to find the clothes you say you want.
I wear this sometimes

Although the coat on this picture is pretty damn short, the one I have reaches my ankles.

For the last fucking time. I am not telling you what to wear. I have no intention to, never had it. And read the motherfucking thread before trying to act like a smartass.

I avoid fashion items because they cost way too much, they look like shit and they are uncomfortable. As for shoes, you really haven't walked around my hometown's shoes stores.
Looks like OP isn't trying to make any friends that happen to be *gasp* girls.
These days girls like girly/gay boys, hence why everyone wears skinny jeans and gaybow colored stuff.

Not the case here, most fellers wear tracksuits, and waterproofs, all the time. I shit you not.
So girls like guys like me who wear jeans and actually look decent in them, and have longish hair that isn't greasy as fuck.
EDIT: I noticed you mentioned school OP, at least you wear you're own clothes, we wear uniforms.

I have a girlfriend of 9 months, obviously not because she likes or hates the clothes I wear, but because she likes me as a person. I might not have many friends, but the ones I have are people I'd trust at any time. I am not a social outcast, just because I wear clothes that I like and enjoy wearing. Apparently to be cool in today's society, you have to be a fucking faggot and to wear clothes that cost more than your parent's income for a year. This, amongst many other things is why I have lost hope for the future of the current and future generations.
Open your mind, OP. I have clothes of all styles, Including metal bands t-shirts, skinny pants, regular jeans, even some emo/scene and hipster clothes.
Dressing the same way over and over makes you look boring.

Fair enough, just that girls don't go for guys who don't dress well for them.
Where I live any way.

I am not a close minded person just because I have a certain taste in clothes, which happens to revolve around a limited selection.

It is the same here. But if you manage to find a girl that isn't as shallow as the puddle that collects in my front yard, then she wouldn't care about something like a T-shirt and a pair of pants.
I fucking hate people who moan about the way other people dress, why can't you just dislike people on personality and not on what they think looks good (HOW DARE THEY LIKE THINGS I DONT!!)

That's not the reason I wear skinny jeans.
they look good (In my opinion, not trying to force it anyone here)
they are comfortable, assuming you make sure to get a good brand that have well cut jeans.
I ride my bike a lot, and loose trousers can easily get caught, this was the original reason I started wearing them.
I partly agree with the OP but those pictures are only the very extremes. The people who wear these tend to be the people who have their arses out.

See. That is exactly what I am talking about. You are not wearing them in order to fit in with the "cool kidz", but because you find them to be comfortable, good looking and they serve their purpose for you.

thankyou. And sorry about my earlier post, I was being a dick :h:
OP has finally come to the realization that, of all of humanity's creations, fashion is one of the stupidest ones.
I was lucky enough to get my clothes in times and place before this huge hipster/gangsta/emo shit took the world by a chokehold.
thankyou. And sorry about my earlier post, I was being a dick :h:
and this is why those of us that work almost always wear stuff related to our work or activities similiar to that
i.e. I wear combats/cargo trousers with t-shirts and fleeces as a majority w/ boots
but I's gots me jeans, trainers, etc for when I want to wear jeans, trainers, etc
'Sup yall.
i came late to this thread, but it's just to tell this stupid thing probably most of you know:
Fashion is the most scamming industry ever.
They sell you a hat and a t-shirt, then give you a free magazine saying "your actual hat and t-shirts are fucking outdated, go buy new ones."
And so on.
I find it hard to find anything at all that i find ok to wear.
Just finding any pants that don't feel like you're wearing a boa constrictor around your crotch is a plus.
I wear some form of T-Shirt, usually ones with fancy patterns on them, flames and such and a pair of bootcut jeans. Noone minds.
I wear this sometimes, which is very rare.

Just because nobody replied when you first said it, it doesn't mean you have to post it again.
@Recurracy
ITT: People who dress differently to me are wrong :words: .
Just wear what you wear and cease to care about what other people are dressed as, you'll live longer.
Since when was it illegal to wear something you thought looked good? Most people like to think they look good in the clothes they wear hence the reason they wear these clothes. It's stupid how some people here think just because you wear something that's trendy and in you must be a shallow idiot.
Nerds should never discuss fashion as they're obsessed with practicality and are generally ugly cunts.
