ironic posts because i'm getting these
I notice a lot of '80s influence in style lately, and everywhere I go there's '80s music playing, or they're definitely bringing the sound back with "new" music. We had the '80s, the whole emo/gangster look didn't do anything for anyone in the 2000s. Let's just go back to normal clothes and stop pretending that funky clothing and other consumer products make us unique individuals.
You know what I hate? Jeans with buttoned zippers. It's terrible. I do NOT want to button my zipper. It's just terrible. I recently went shopping and wanted to get new jeans, but all the good looking ones are buttoned, all bad ones have zippers. I mean, come on.

I bought a pair of shoes I thought looked pretty ugly at first, but they were so comfortable and cost me only 20€
If he didn't care, he wouldn't of made this thread.
He cares so little it's at the point where he cares a lot

I get my pants at Old Navy. Sounds gay, but they're pretty comfortable. They're normal, not any of that tight, faded shit. I think you can also get them at department stores too. As for shoes, I don't have a problem finding shoes I like either. Just go online and you can find just about anything you want.
I love buttoned zippers because the worst thing in the world is a zipper that is starting to get lose.
Button fly :respek: [editline]12:21AM[/editline]
what is "good looking"?
what ever you make it out to be
You see, thats why you aren't supposed to care what other people think. You apparently care too much. Hipster, it's a word. Wear what you like. It's that simple.
Shall I tell you a secret? Yeah, people who wear dumb things will be avoided by many, because people don't like hanging around with weird looking people. I'm not saying wearing a tshirt and a pair of jeans is wrong or something, just that hoodies in the summer do look weird, and if you want to make new friends at school, you'll have to atleast dress decently.
what is "good looking"?
Something that fits your own taste.
Button fly :respek: [editline]12:21AM[/editline] what ever you make it out to be
I meant in his opinion. I would wear button fly if they fit :c [editline]04:23PM[/editline]
Shall I tell you a secret? I can't be bothered sifting through the pre-ripped, pre-acid washed bullshit for $60 a pop just so I can think I'm cool by looking the way big corps and other people think I should look.
it's even better when people wear those pants with them falling off their ass i find it hilarious they walk around in public like that and you can see their fucking underwear

Pre-damaged pants usually don't last very long anyway, so why not just buy some used pants.
I meant in his opinion. I would wear button fly if they fit :c [editline]04:23PM[/editline] where do you live
I think I already answered that one already
Will someone explain what this hipster movement is exactly? I feel as though the use of the word is being overly misused.
I think I already answered that one already
In the Netherlands, you guys have distinct winters and summers. I live in southern california, where the temperature goes from a low of 60 to a high of 90 throughout the year. Jackets hardly ever serve a purpose here, they're just something people wear for the hell of it.
Something that fits your own taste.
I actually think that when other people like it (and it's not something you'd never wear), it'd be 'good looking'.
Will someone explain what this hipster movement is exactly? I feel as though the use of the word is being overly misused.
It's overused because it's broad. I think it's pretty much just being "hip"
Go to a fucking store. They tend to have clothes there. Here's your lame clothing choice(I found all these pictures on the first page of Google Images, did you even look?) It's a hooded sweater, not a hoodie-hoodies are those ones you hate. Men's jeans, not hard to find. Trainers, so easy to find. Fuck man.
fashion standarts?

standarts?
Oh no, not the standarts! But seriously I agree todays fashion just sucks a monkey's dry dick. If I wanted to look like Steve Urkel I would by this shit.
In the Netherlands, you guys have distinct winters and summers. I live in southern california, where the temperature goes from a low of 60 to a high of 90 throughout the year.
It's overused because it's broad. I think it's pretty much just being "hip"
Is that bad? I've been wearing some of the clothes described as being 'hipster' for a few years now. People on this site act as though people who wear these clothes are doing it to get on their nerves, I wear them because I think they fit my personality and look better than anything else. Fashion is a personal preference OP, it's nothing we'll be able to help you out with. You have to decide what you like and what looks good on you. I don't see why you would think that we'd be able to help you.
Trainers, so easy to find. [img_thumb]http://www.merrellfootwear.org.uk/salomon-mens-extend-low-trainers_355.jpg[/img_thumb] Fuck man.
Hope OP like hiking.
hahah nice @klownox
Blah blah blah trainers
Anyone who wears those shoes has no sense of style.
Anyone who wears those shoes has no sense of style.
Remember who you're talking to.
