Midi is a viable tool for musical expression, forget these other fools. :smug:
Proper full musicianship always beats out MIDI. There are many talented musicians on Facepunch, if it was a true collaborative effort, people would work towards assisting other's compositions.
Proper Full?
It's a way of speaking. It makes no sense but I'm from Yorkshire, we speak in odd ways. Recorded instruments that are well played will always beat out MIDI in the sort of genre Hakita creates.

I will fight you to the death. :smug:
Breaking the Windows-firefox-UK here. But, I would enjoy watching this debate :3:
Music is expression. Regardless of how it's done. Even the people who sample, DJ Shadow for example. His music is truly inspired, yet he didn't "make" any of it.

Chiptune is a genre, it is written with MIDI in mind. Hakita writes metal, he is a very good composer, however the MIDI doesn't sound good with it. Aye?
No, you clearly said music recorded with real instruments is superior. :smug:
For metal. I compose with Cubase. The guitars sound like utter bollocks, hence I try to avoid genres that aren't too guitar-y. I got on one of the FP collabs and really, the guitar I had on it was awful. Given the choice I would've replaced it with Cubase's sexalicous sax.
nothing but he should take the time to go further and really explore the sounds MIDI is awful, it's dull, inexpressive, and super cheesy
Great BS post.

That is the reason why I see some kind of breakthrough in the future.
