Art's Picture Perfect Photography Girl has a sister. And she's like the reincarnation of Einstein for something. This family, man... I just noticed the sweet boat on boat action going on in the background.

remember that whole deal with the ~proshooter~ guy and quiznos and all that? got more ramblings about that stuff. THAT CLIENT
http://fiverr.com/johnnythefresh/make-any-normal-photo-look-insanely-epic-in-hdr-style?autoplay=true Not necessarily a photographer but he'd seem like the kind of ''that guy'' that can fuck people in the ass and get paid for ruining their photos.
I use both, the 7D is a little better for video, the smaller sensor makes it render frames faster and even allows 60fps (at a lower resolution but still high res). Like Mirror lockup without having to be in live view. I can't stand live view unless it's necessary.
Bit OT but since we're on the subject, do you guys happen to know if there's a stable version of MagicLantern (I think that's what it's called) for the 60D? I want some new video features.
I hate always complaining about this one guy, but dammit his sole existence seems to be to provide content Roll, guess what SC bought and he's already hinting at a 'test shoot' I forsee a plethora of extreme wide-angle derp-face self portraits in the near future. on a slightly NOT SC related note, another con photographer just bought a 70-200mm 2.8L and is also planning on doing a test shoot with cosplayers. The problem I have with this is that he shoots in tighter quarters primarily and has a 7D, so the crop factor will kick in and make that a wonderful lens for getting detail shots up someone's nose. I wish I got some fresher content but I haven't started a new 3D project quite yet. :I
that guy who "fixes photographs" runs them through a filter and color correct fucking brilliant, he is thrifty, i'll give him that [editline]14th December 2011[/editline] looked at his other stuff, and wow, he will do anything for 5 bux including trolling others, apparently.

Jesus..... It seems every week he buys something like that.
Where does this guy get his income from.... Jesus..... It seems every week he buys something like that.
His priorities are probably a bit skewed, though I'm sure he makes a good penny off of hapless convention goers.
I recall him posting not too long ago about how he should probably charge for shoots outside of conventions however all of his not-at-the-con shooting is 'test shoots' so he doesn't deem them worth charging for
don't know anyone like this. i am lucky as hell.

I know but with your experience with wide angle lenses, I thought you'd appreciate the idea of a whole photo album of this but at 11mm
Rockjoint sounds more fun than that.
I'd love a wide angle at some point. I think I could get some really good candids with one.
i asked for an adapter to my 16mm lens to make it into a 12mm for christmas. apparently it has gotten stellar reviews (actually made for my lens specifically), can't wait to try it out.
I'm in the market for a Tokina 11-16 2.8, but I could buy a Nikon 50 1.4 much sooner. Think I'll go for the Tokina.
I forsee a plethora of extreme wide-angle derp-face self portraits in the near future.
nailed it first thing he uploaded taken with his new lens at 11mm. Fun thing though, apparently his cousin is a self-proclaimed pro shooter and was blaming a whole bunch of things on his 7D's functions, from how bright the LCD was/wasn't to how using the histogram function is "for fruitcakes". Hrm. edit- turns out his cousin is a professional wedding photographer, and he's got good portfolio. Uses a Nikon D3(something) with a 24-70 f/2.8 Saddens me he'd act the way he does about such menial setting quirks on someone else's camera edit2- I asked how that tokina is treating him and he responded "as for my Tokina... I wanna get a 5D .. and see how it looks just to confirm the other findings." wargarble SO in the spirit of christmas, how many of you have observed a sudden influx of your facebook photographer population? Already saw a thatgirl in the offtopic thread who thought "550D" was in regards to her bra size
