He used to pester me and another friend to do a nude shoot for him, and he ain't even a looker. you'd get similar (i.e. the same) results from a 60D or 600D but it's an excellent camera which will last you years

I know your tactic is usually to be blunt, but I think you'd get a lengthier, more impactful insult if you weren't just being inflammatory.
Like, ask if he used 'a rebel' to take his other pictures 'because you took a picture that looked just like that at your christmas family dinner' or whatever
