got some more architectural photographer paid reference photos for a place, they were blindingly tonemapped to the point it physically hurt to look at due to lack of depth. Then it would probably be a 20D or a 20Da, those cameras came out in 2004/2005.

Whenever I get a piece of new camera gear I feel like "That Guy", like today when I accidentially bought a Panasonic DVX100 for $200. I really didn't need it for what I do but at that price, how could I resist? Then if I try and stay behind and buy old camera gear, I feel hipster so I buy stuff that's right in the middle that sits in the grey area where my work is purely shit because it's neither warm and fuzzy enough to be in the older hardware genre and not crisp enough to be taken with state of the art gear.

Hiptser = Follow trends. I bet you probably wear "hipster" clothes, eat "hipster" foods, listen to "hipster" bands and talk like a "hipster". Try not to get caught up in silly classifications.

^ yeah I agree with salmon, you can buy old cameras without being a hipster, it's only if you do it for the sake of being "hip" for example you buy old cameras because your friends are also buying old cameras so you do it to fit in

I don't want to be bunched together with that class. I'm working with old computers and old cameras because I'm poor. Not because I'm well off and WANT to ACT like I'm poor.

I collect old cameras because I find them fascinating that's all there is too it :)
