Hahahaha wow. How the hell are you going to afford basic income for everyone? You're gonna print the money or take it from taxes? I really hope I don't have to explain that printing money will not work, in the other case, guess what's gonna happen. Since large portion of people now are working their ass off for basic income, in a situation where the basic income is given to them for free they would just stop working altogether. And when most of them stop working, and you only have the rich ones... oh wait all the employees have quit... okay we still have a few people working maybe if we take everything from them we will be able to afford the basic income for everyone, wait they don't want to work for free, dammit. Okay lets print the money.

The necessity for having a job ensures "participation in society". If you fulfill people's basic needs for free, barely anyone will work. Prices will go crazy. Global economic collapse. Good job.
