You're talking about 50 years of world history, the history that shaped the world we live in today. The eras when the greatest musicians of the 20th century lived. Whole genres of music, rock & roll, heavy metal, funk, soul, rhythm & blues and electro and you hate all of them? Not to mention some of the most amazing movies in history? Well, in his defense I think anything after 1972 and before 1988 was pretty shit. Some good music in the 70's but the 70's culture was terrible, all the drugs of the 60's but none of the style or intensity, was all just a bunch of disease producing sex, disco, and arbitrary drug use. The 80s had some awful fashion and produced a fair deal of pretty faddy and drab music. Thats not to say everything from that period sucked, but a lot of it did. 50's, 60's and 90's were excellent.

It's funny because the internet was invented before 2000 and so he's saying he hates the internet.

There were probably bad decades, but the 1980's and the 1990's were fun. I don't like the 2000's too much. Everything is going down hill.

I don't think you could say an entire DECADE sucked. 00s weren't the best as far as music goes, but look at the technology and history there!!!

The LATE 1980's (into the 90's) was good. The collapse of the soviet union, tearing down the Berlin wall, new music started coming out.. video games picked up their pace. It's all good. It's also when the majority of facepunch was born, and the start of a new generation.
