And frankly, it's better to be honest with oneself and the person in question that you cannot see yourself dating someone who is paralysed.
I matched with this wheelchair bound person who used to work in Obama's administration, and I sent her a message because I was sure she'd be interesting to talk to, and she unmatched me, lol.
So don't feel bad, she knows how it is, she's well aware of her situation.
Girls truly are strange creatures.
Wish they would be honest and speak their mind rather than flat out ignoring you, but cool.
Did you know that... girls are also people...
Most of the time if they're ignoring you it's to not be outright rude and say "no" because if real life has taught us anything it's that sometimes people don't like to be told "no" and get all weird and persistent anyway.
If they're ignoring you it's better to just move on.

you think after about 50 times of moving on i'd get better at it. oh well.
Had to say goodbye to two of my friends yesterday after some huge drama acted up which im partly to blame for.
Man I feel empty knowing my friend circle has decreased even more. And looks like I have to start chatting up with new people to see if I can make new friends where I dont fuck something up. I dont have social anxiety but im more of the type that awaits first contact than to take the initiative.
What places do you guys recommend meeting new people at? Sofar my schedule is littered with free time which im trying to fill in with work and going more often to the gym.
I feel ya, I recently fell out with my ex and she said to my face, in the most brutal way possible, that she'd been with another guy during her holiday in Mykonos
I thought I'd stopped feeling anything for her, it'd been months since we broke up and we'd been the best of friends, but I guess the fact that she's moving on has me as jealous as I've never been and longing for her again
I'm turning my anger and sadness into fitness, doing some pushups and squats :v:
Ah shit, even thinking about that hurts like a saw on the inside.
But Im gonna do like you, just turn my focus to feeling better about myself.
I've been speaking to this really nice gal for about a week now, it's the first time in a while I've felt a genuine chemistry with someone in about 2 years so I'm pretty happy rn
it turned out we're both in one of those shitposting groups on facebook, and she liked one of my memes like 6 months ago before we even met, thought that was pretty incredible
[editline]20th July 2017[/editline]
it was a shitposting group for the smiths too which is pretty romantic
Quick update, I've been blocked
What did you do...
Shitposted too hard.
Did you show her your penis, cause that always works
I was basically telling her how I thought Americans were dumb (I worded it wrong, what I meant was that every country has morons, just America's are especially dim) and she said I was being generalising and xenophobic, which I thought was a bit over the top.
We had a couple of disagreements and I asked her why it was such a personal matter, she told me she had a good friend who was American and I responded "that's nice of you to help the disabled" and that sealed my fate.
No offense gang, for the record I don't think you lot are actually stupid, it was just bants
you seem like exactly the type of person to be active in a smiths shitposting group

I'm too dumb to understand most of this post but good job!
yeah you're an IDIOT
"Bants" aside, I can't say you're wrong, I was pretty ignorant to not realise it had gone beyond a joke. I feel like a bit of a cunt, and like I say I hope no one's actually offended by my silly remarks

I actually find it funny given that your avatar looks like a character from GI Joe; the most american tv show in the 80's. :v:
'Hey when we finally meet you should totally kiss me ^^'

What's worse than having a chat like this online? Be in the same awkward situation IRL at a nightly public event (concert rave thing) after crawling out of the sinking social depressing your ex left you in when she cheated on you years go. Granted it was difficult to see what the people looked like, the music was loud to hear clear conversations, and when the sentence hit me like a brick I quickly apologized and sped the FUCK out of there before people had the wrong idea. Suffice to say I rarely go to these again after that. Now I do have colleagues who go there and I stick to them like glue.

At that point all you should have done was ask "And their democratically president isn't generalising and xenophobic?" and watch the fireworks. [sp]Sorry, not trying to turn this into a polidicks debate. Plzdontban.[/sp]

I'm 25 and got matches with two girls who are 18 and 19 years old and I'm already wondering whether it is a good idea to even consider having a relationship with them. Doesn't make it better that they're as young as my brother lmao.
you're living up to your username for sure man
I wish it was still possible to beg the mods to change usernames
Friend did exactly that in the middle of a depression, and turned into a walking comfort zone for a developing adult while cutting bridges because he started to take relationship advice from a teenager. Try not to.
Also, I had a relapse in self-esteem issues, and skipped on events, rather than going and asking mates who went to meet up and have a drink or something, because the pervarsive "I don't want to be a bother" feelings struck. And I know those have no basis, but oh well...
Mid to late teens is a period of time where most people really start to change as people. They're out of drama riddled high-school and start to work towards life goals, self discovery, self expression, and so on. Would really not recommend it, personally. 7 years is just too big of a gap.
Yeah, that's fair enough. Oh well, at least I gained some experience talking to the opposite sex. Yay, progress!

i can confirm, i am 19 myself
life-wise, i am happy and content. i have my fair share of problems and vices, but i always get waves of existential thought every now and then relating to my place in life and where i will be years from now. its an awkward place because im stuck in the transition from teen to adulthood and am forced to adjust cause school does literally shit all to prepare you. the faster i was out of that dump the better
its basically the equivalent of not knowing how to swim but still being thrown into the deep-end of a cold pool and forcing yourself to learn to swim out. you don't know exactly where you're going yet, just coasting through life, and at heart you never really feel like youre an adult yet

Got my first match on tinder with someone I accidentally liked :v:

This.
I went out with a 17 year old when I was 20, she was 18 soon enough but if some of you ever read my posts in here, she changed MASSIVELY.
From 17-19 she went from being an extremely innocent girl to
Ending up cheating on me and then courting the dude straight after.
It varies a lot. When a buddy of mine was still 18, he started dating a 15-year old girl. But she was, and remains, more mature than a lot of people in their 20's are. They're still together after 4 years.

Yeah nothing is 100% but I'd still avoid it.
Your friend was lucky, glad they're doing well!
Yeah, I don't disagree with you, I'd never date someone younger than 18, it was just an observation.
And yeah, friend got lucky. Though it does help that they've always been very open with each other. Friend even told his GF that if she ever started acting like so many other teenage girl, he'd break up. Maybe a bit harsh in hind-sight, but I think it's partly why their relationship is so strong now.
My application for Irish Citizenship got approved, I can finally cut final ties to my previous country and be completley unrelated to it.
This opens a lot of new possibilities, only took me 11 Years to get it (In reality I could've applied 6 years ago but didn't think of it until Brexit, which caused me to think what if Ireland does same shit so I applied)
