Saddest Anime endings. - General

FLCL is one of those happy sad endings, like its good but leaves you kinda empty in the end. Definitly cowboy bebop Darker then black - [sp]when wong uses himself as bait and dies, then mao loses his humanity and runs off..[/sp]

Saikano. Come on[sp]everyone dies, but I think the part where Akemi dies was the saddest.[/sp] Don't bother with the live action movie, they just candy coated the ending and made it crap.

Wow, FP is just a massive bandwagon fest now. Just look at all of the OP's dumb ratings. What happened to the days where people here were actually kind of smart? To contribute, the end of episode 272 in Bleach when [sp]Ulquiorra dies.[/sp] It's not really an ending, but Bleach is the only anime I've tried so far.

Michiko to Hatchin. It's supposed to be a happy ending but I just found the unfairness of the end too much.

The ending to Shuffle! was pretty sad to me. Or at least, the episodes close to the ending.

I've only watched, maybe 4 anime series. Only one I managed to finish was Tora Dora, and if I remember correctly that had a sad ending...

Elfen Lied. The entire thing of it is sad. I'm just glad they didn't ruin it when they finished the series by adding a 2nd season. I still have to read the Manga though...

I don't watch Anime. But i'd have to say Cowboy Bebop as it is the only one i've seen.
