I guess this was their way of saying "that isn't gonna happen again," but it comes off as so stupid.

I hope they have the technology for bullets to make splash particles in water this time around.

Watch_Dogs wasn't too bad, in my opinion. Although, like Assassin's Creed and perhaps Assassin's Creed: Unity, it felt very much like a test game that practiced the technology and mechanics of the game itself. As for its plot, Watch Dogs fell short, for me, because it never went as big as I thought it could with its conspiracy shenanigans. Hopefully, Watch_Dogs 2 will be more refined in its gameplay and more in depth with its story. In fact, the Bad Blood DLC was a more interesting story than much of the base game. I thought it was an alright game for what it was, then again I wasn't only interested in it for the graphics. I hope the gameplay is an improvement at least.

Ignoring the graphical bullshit they did, It wasnt a bad game at all stop acting like it was. It was however a massive let down and could have been SO much more than what it was. As it happens it's like a 7/10 title. Maybe we'll be surprised. Just don't fucking preorder it.

I think the shooting was something they recognized though, as you can unlock the auto revolver ([I]what the fuck even[/I]) like an hour into the game that instantly kills every enemy

I played like 10 missions in watch dogs then I just couldn't get myself to play much more after I saw they made the invasion style multiplayer more gimped than I had hoped. Not much expectation for the 2nd game

Cautiously hoping for an AC2 moment with this. We'll see.

The only solace I take in having played Watch Dogs is that it came as a bonus with a graphics card, so I don't feel like I wasted too much, since I needed an upgrade more than I did the game it came with. It wasn't an absolutely terrible game no, but it wasn't anything really close to what it seemed like Ubisoft was promising, will the second game show that they truly learned from the first game's reception? Time will tell, but I personally doubt it. I am genuinely curious to see the setting of the next game though. Any clues or possible leaks on that yet?

I didn't follow the development of Watch Dogs at all so I went into the original with no expectations. It's far from being one of my favorite games of all time, but with no expectations I found it pretty good for what it was. I could probably see myself picking up Watch Dogs 2 during a Steam sale.

i enjoyed watchdogs, people bash it way too hard for not looking like the E3 demo, but almost every single company at E3 does the exact same scripted bullshit.

Watch Dogs had its problems but I had some genuinely fun moments playing that game. There were certainly high points in the bloated campaign, but the invasions were awesome. Murdering a guy with seconds left on the timer by shooting him 30 times in the face through the windshield of the car he was hiding in was some cold shit. I'm extremely worried for WD2 though. If that's the actual character design they're going with.... Eugh. Aiden may have been generic but at least he didn't make me physically cringe.
