I'm happy with my stripey polos from Next thanks
Horizontal stripes make people look fatter than they really are.
[editline]11:26AM[/editline]
Thick horizontal stripes, that is. The thinner ones are okay depending on what the shirt looks like.
i wear doc martens a leather jacket and jeans and then a t shirt too also

Actually some recent study proved that it was the other way round, vertical stripes make you look fatter

Plain T shirts and jeans never go wrong. nice looking and useful.

The only kind of vertical stripes I've ever seen are shirts like this:

Which, if you follow the direction with your eyes, make you focus more on the length of the person instead of the width. So it may make you look shorter or taller than you are, but at least not larger.
As opposed to this:

Which makes you focus on the width of the stripes and how they wrap around the person's body, which may make them look larger than they probably are.
And then, most guys who wear striped polos don't get fitting sizes and since the shirt itself is bigger, it makes them look bigger.
I'd dress like you, but then I'd have to kill myself for being a douche.
And I'm totally gonna change my taste in music for superficial reasons. I mean, appearances are everything. Girls don't like metal. They all have the same personality and it doesn't like metal. It's not like they're individuals or anything.
And as for the "science" in it, I guess that's up to interpretation. Personally, I think vertical stripes are more slimming than horizontal ones. Others may think different. It also varies depending on whether or not the person is buying the right size of clothes and the right style.

They aren't the same person. What kind of terrible comparison is that?

Look the horizontal stripes make him look taller.
Also since that study was done on women wearing stripes, it might differ for guys? Maybe.
They aren't the same person. What kind of comparison is this?
Comparing the shirts themselves, not the dudes.
V necks are totally queer.
If you wear one, you're seriously asking to get fucked in the ass... srsly.
I would never wear anything with stripes.

I would hope that no one in their right mind would go out in public looking like the guy in the first image and feel like they should be taken seriously.
The second guy looks taller, sure, but he also looks relatively large.

Well I'd be happy with that cos i'm a skinny bastard so anything that makes me look bigger is a plus
Well I guess if that's what you're going for. :v:
Pascall, take me shopping ok.
I already said we would, let's GO.
Pretty much every piece of clothing I'm wearing right now is something I bout at Walmart or got on Clearance. I don't look bad.
I have a decent pair of tennis shoes ($12 at Walmart. Been getting them for 5+ years).
A standard pair of jeans, ($10~ at Walmart).
A black belt ($12 at, you guessed it, Walmart).
And a graphic tee ($10, clearance table at Hot Topic).
When it starts to get cold I throw on a cheap, comfy hoodie that I've had for... 6+ years?
I'm in a relationship and I have my friends, so I'm not really interested in impressing anyone. Most styles nowadays tend to be really uncomfortable. I stick with loose-fitting shirts and pants because I don't like to feel like my pants are trying to cut me in half or my shirt is trying to assimilate with me. When I get a shirt like that, I end up stretching out the collar because I'm constantly tugging on it to get it off of my neck.
I already said we would, let's GO.
but when?
Whenever you come down to visit.
We need to take Eddy shopping too.
Having a guide on, "how to look," is bloody daft. Then we'd all be a bunch of clones with our, "in-fashion." I wear stuff that I got months, and even years ago, because I keep them good, and don't wreck them up. I'd much rather look different than the typical man-slut.
Whenever you come down to visit.

this will be exciting.
You can look different without looking like you just rolled yourself into your closet and came out wearing whatever.
Why did you say not to wear fitteds and then post a guy in a The Hundreds fitted man I don't know how to be fashionable now
And vnecks really are gay man sorry
if you have a hairy chest please don't wear V-necks. I have a friend who does and it's gross.
