You're not giving people the opportunity to want to get to know you if you don't first present yourself in a respectable manner.

Dont get me wrong. I dont dress sloppy. All the t shirts I wear are fitted nicley and are always clean. Im clean shaven and always take care of my hair, I just dont understand why some people go way out of their way to dress a certain way because its the "style". But if you wear what you want to wear just because you like it, then whatever.
The skate style has come and gone. Posers no longer exist. That's why the hipster thing is getting old, because it's becoming more mainstream, which goes completely against it.
SO thats why I hate "skaters" so much when they arent even skating.
metrosexual look and hipster gayboy attitude and the OP's a nazi
Where are you getting this shit from? There's nothing "Nazi" about anything in the OP.
Like I said earlier, I think some people are just jealous that they don't look good.

Oh well yeah, dressing up JUST BECAUSE it's the style is dumb. But you have to take SOME amount of pride in your appearance, which a good majority of the people who frequent forums like this don't do and use the excuse that "if a girl likes me, she'll like my PERSONALITY, not how I dress".
Well okay, yeah, personality is important, but what good is your personality if you dress so horribly that no one even wants to go near you?

This. I'm wearing a SKA Saint Petersburg shirt, levis, and puma soccer cleats. I'm probably the opposite of fashionable, but it doesn't matter as much as people think.

If I am ever to find a girl that I am to be happy with, then she must accept that I dress badly, and listen to metal. Then she can improve me to her standards.

Yeah thats true. I take care of what I dress in, but I dont follow any style. And I do know that no matter how good of a personality somebody has, if they dress really bad, people will assume the worst.
Damn.

True. I skipped the last sentence of your post. sorry, mate. :downs:
OP is right. Cardigans and cloth-shoes are the best. I can't agree more than I already am.

It gives me something to do in my free time.
Besides, we're trying to set the rocker straight over the difference between being a douche/fag/hipster and being fashionable.
I admit, there's no way around saying "fashionable" without sounding like a queer, but whatever...

Yeah. . . . But I guess its all opinion. v:v:v
Well I guess the reality of it is, you can look good in anything you wear (well.. almost anything) as long as it fits properly. Meaning, if you want to wear a Slayer shirt, by all means do, but at least get YOUR size. I have no idea why skinny guys purchase XXXL t-shirts.
I have a lot of shirts that are bigger than me but I usually throw a cute jacket over it to balance it out. I recently bought a L4D2 shirt from Valve which was small sized but was still like twice my size. (Curse you valve for catering to large people) but what I did was I folded up the sleeves a few times and threw on a small grey and black jacket which I thought was nice and when I combined it with my grey dress flats, it all looked pretty nice. Although it was drizzly that day so my hair was pretty horrible, but still, I felt like I looked good even with that huge shirt on because I made it work.
So you know, as long as you make it look like it belongs on your body, go for it.

I got your back, bro.
Actually, I'm totally gonna wear my L4D shirt right now when I go eat dinner.
Just because I feel like it.
All relationships are firstly based on attraction. If a girl sees that you're a sloppy dresser, she won't want to get to know you personally because she'll get the sense that you may be an overall sloppy person.
You're not giving people the opportunity to want to get to know you if you don't first present yourself in a respectable manner. It's the same with job interviews. If you go to a job interview dressed like shit, an employer isn't going to give you the chance to work there.
[editline]03:31PM[/editline]
Also all of my clothes are relatively fashionable and none are uncomfortable. It all depends on fit, sizing, and what brand you're buying as different brands are made in different ways.
I made a mental note, thanks for the tips.

Cuz most teenage girls are shallow and normally only like appearance. If you want a girl like that by all means.
If you rly want a girl, just dress normally like yourself and be caring and generous. Pretending to be someone else makes you look like a dumbass.
If being yourself means no shower or deodorant, change yourself.
