I bet you any money that 90% of Facepunch hasn't got a clue on how to dress properly.
H&M is the shit, it's a real shame that they haven't set shop in my country. I love Diesel as well, although they are a bit more expensive i think it's more than worth it, Esprit is nice too if you're on a budget.
Diesel is fucking amazing, but I only buy their shoes.
Cuz most teenage girls are shallow and normally only like appearance. If you want a girl like that by all means.
If you rly want a girl, just dress normally like yourself and be caring and generous. Pretending to be someone else makes you look like a dumbass.
If being yourself means no shower or deodorant, change yourself.
Perfectly true, all his girls are in highschool. Im in college and have had the same style for quite a few years, And just the other day this chick I have liked for over a year asked me to hang out with her.
And my other friend who basically dresses the same as me (A little nerdier) and he doesnt wear deodorant. No surprise he hasnt had a chick friend for years.
Now I can finally be cool at school.
Perfectly true, all his girls are in highschool [with the except of homeschoolers]
Fixed. My Girlfriend is one of those exceptions.
Cuz most teenage girls are shallow and normally only like appearance.
Well, women use first impressions and attractiveness as a measuring stick, so it definitely helps to look nice.
Fixed. My Girlfriend is one of those exceptions.
I do not understand this.
Well, women use first impressions and attractiveness as a measuring stick, so it definitely helps to look nice.
Agreed. You get the girl with first impressions. Let her get comfortable with you.
Then you can sit back and walk around in your oversized t-shirts and whatever the hell you want.
I do not understand this.
You don't have any homeschooled friends.
Homeschoolers aren't as shallow as public schoolers. I will admit, The "Death Metal, Bring Me The Horizon, Skater" dress style OP said not to wear, I wear. my girlfriend doesn't care, but she still somehow loves me, she's homeschooled and looks past my skater/screamo appearance for 13 months together. Clothes doesn't get the girls.
It sure as hell helps though.

No no, I dont any more. I was homeschooled myself. All the way to college. But I managed to keep many friends. And I agree, most homeschoolers were raised with strict morals that arent as easily corrupted as people who go to normal school. All the chicks that go after my friend are from a normal highschool and are shallow as a puddle.
And my style isnt so much "rocker/metal head" etc. My friends have described me as a lumberjack. Normal t-shirt, tough pocket plenty jeans, and big tough shoes. I was raised in the mountains, but I dont dress like a hillbilly.
Why? I don't care what people have to say and if I wear it, I won't magically turn into a rainbow ninja.
Most people will assume you're a butt pirate, if that's the impression you want to give then that's cool I guess :riker:
Bitches, they go crazy for my Commissars cap.
Its gotta be that star.
Or my dashing good looks :smug:
mad swag yo
The next big fashion fad will be public urban footie pajamas.

Only judgmental morons who can't accept a human being as different. You are seeming like one by acting like V-necks are "SO GAY!"
Well I guess the reality of it is, you can look good in anything you wear (well.. almost anything) as long as it fits properly. Meaning, if you want to wear a Slayer shirt, by all means do, but at least get YOUR size. I have no idea why skinny guys purchase XXXL t-shirts.
I have a lot of shirts that are bigger than me but I usually throw a cute jacket over it to balance it out. I recently bought a L4D2 shirt from Valve which was small sized but was still like twice my size. (Curse you valve for catering to large people) but what I did was I folded up the sleeves a few times and threw on a small grey and black jacket which I thought was nice and when I combined it with my grey dress flats, it all looked pretty nice. Although it was drizzly that day so my hair was pretty horrible, but still, I felt like I looked good even with that huge shirt on because I made it work.
So you know, as long as you make it look like it belongs on your body, go for it.
Oh my gosh you liar tell them the truth!

I've been wearing V necks the whole time and I never knew they were considered gay. :saddowns:
It takes confidence to wear those heavy metal T-shirts and running shoes, and chicks like confidence, so your argument is invalid OP.

it takes confidence to wear a T-shirt for a metal band? :what:
it takes confidence to wear a T-shirt for a metal band? :what:
Yes. The point is you wear it because you like it, and you don't care if it isn't 'in the style' or if other people like it. I'm fairly certain you could go into public with a scuba diving suit and everyone would love your confidence. Sooo attractive.

wow...
Plus I don't see why liking metal is frowned upon. So what if girls don't like it, they aren't going to sleep with you based on your personal taste in music.
I have no set code of dress. One day, I'll toss on a tshirt, light jacket, some jeans and runners and I'm perfectly fine. But, some days, just yesterday in fact, I wore some tighter fitting jeans with ripped knees, black shirt, hoodie and suit jacket. People didn't walk away from me or avoid me. It doesn't really matter, as long as you don't look dirty.

No the fuck they don't. If you're a likeable and outgoing person with a good sense of humor and a good personality, I really don't see why your taste in music would affect someone's view of you. Even if you didn't wear the T-shirts and just kept it to yourself, I can't really picture someone that I've established chemistry with and gotten to know intimately refusing me because I listen to slayer.

This.
I guess, if you're walking down the street with scream-o, a girl might say "wow that guys creepy", and that makes sense, but fuck that bitch anyways. If she were to actually TALK to that guy, hey, I know LOTS of people with musical taste like this who are friggin great people
