Do you actually have any real world experience with women that aren't shallow cunts? Why wouldn't they want to talk to him?
would you rather talk to someone who looks trashy, or someone who looks like they give an ass about their appearance
this is what you like
if a person liked wearing cargo pants and had a graphic tee, what would you say to them?
I wouldn't say anything, there's no need to put people down because of their clothes, but if some people try to look good then that's excellent. Kids with generic tees, shorts above their knees, long socks rolled up under running shoes can continue to dress like that. It's not my thing, but I try to keep a certain look going.
would you rather talk to someone who looks trashy, or someone who looks like they give an ass about their appearance
I certainly don't give a fuck
I guess I wouldn't necessarily want to give the dirty person a hug if that's what you mean
but that's physical

I'd much rather speak to someone who has the balls to wear what they like than someone with insecurity issues who dresses up for everyone else.

it doesn't change that clothes give a first impression
if you want to go around town looking like you just got out of a thrift shop, i'm not stopping you, but i am saying that clothes are important for first impressions, in any environment
Stop listening to Slayer by the way, metal too, girls hate that shit and you're prime gay for it.
I dont care what girls think I will not listen to justin beiber and if I wanted a chick that bad then I would hire one for 250$ an hour

I know you aren't stopping me, it just bothers me that you think clothes are more important than personality and body language. Obviously you can't go around wearing clothes made from trash bags and carpet scraps, but even if you wear the most expensive clothes from H&M it doesn't matter if you don't have your inner self handled as well.
Also I would like to know how well you do with the ladies in your fancy clothing. I'm sure they jump into your bed by the hundreds at the mere sight of your v-neck and scarf.
What?
I'm a metal head, not a *beep*, So i don't need to dress in that giant bulky shit and look like an idiot, when a Slayer shirt, blue jeans, black boots, and a black hoodie suits my personality, Not dressing like a *beep* or and idiot.
why are you censoring yourself.

i would agree and also i dont see how someone wearing different kinds of cloths would make them look more attractive

What i was going to say isn't allowed on the forum, So might as-well be safe.

i'm saying that, before people even talk to you, they'll judge you
it's human nature
by dressing up nicely you give a good impression before you even say a word
i would agree and also i dont see how someone wearing different kinds of cloths would make them look more attractive
Well I'm certainly not going to be attracted to someone who looks like they just rolled out of a dumpster somewhere.
Checkered Slip-Ons Fuck Off
So, does that mean I shouldn't wear them?
Well I'm certainly not going to be attracted to someone who looks like they just rolled out of a dumpster somewhere.
even when i was homeless i managed to keep my cloths clean and i only had 5 shirts so you dont have to have a 1000nd different pairs
Also clothes are not more important than personality or attitude.
But honestly, I don't check to see what kind of "attitude" a person has when I take a half second glance at them. I don't check to see if they're confident in their clothes. I don't consider that if I just look at them for a brief second. I see, "that guy is wearing a huge shirt and baggy pants. I probably wouldn't date that guy. He probably wouldn't be my type".
And that's usually what I expect from others when they take a quick glance at me. (Of course, I'm not in the market for a guy atm, so I care a little less than I normally would). I'm more focused on appealing to an employer or a professor than the opposite sex.

It doesn't hurt.
I hate hipsters.
everyone knows the people that hate hipsters the most are other hipsters
congrats you are a hipster, you're so fucking unique and indie

Yes, I know that people judge eachother by their appearance all the time without actually speaking to the person.
I'm telling you as a fact that most of those judgements and assumptions are unconscious, and based more off of a person's body language and general confidence, not solely by the clothes you wear. I really don't see why this is so hard for you to accept.
How do you think the cavemen mated? Everyone wore the same scrap cloth and had the same mangy beards. Do you think the women randomly picked mates and just stuck with them because they were all the same?

You're a man. You're applying your male logic to females and that doesn't work. You might not notice these things, but women certainly do.

I think it has been mentioned in this thread that I am indeed a woman.
um, Pascall isn't a man.

ninja'd by the lady herself.
Also I notice what someone is wearing and how they look first and foremost before assessing anything else. If I like the way they look and they seem to be well put together, I'll attempt to get to know them and hopefully they have a great personality to go along with their appearance.

yeah, looking confident does help, but it doesn't work when you use it alone
For those arguing about v-necks, here is a little guide:

The standard v-neck is, generally, acceptable.
The douchebag neck, or deep v-neck, is not.
Hah. I like how the third one has the pattern.

yeah but unless you are wearing a dick costume they aren't going to make very serious decisions without talking to you first
The "im with stupid" shirt. It's horrible and everyone hates it. But does that mean the guy in the shirt is a dick? Will i hate him? not necessarily
i like op's style but i'm not black so i can't pull it off without looking like a faggot
i buy whatever i can for cheap, what does that say about me?

I would probably not go after a guy with an "I'm With Stupid" shirt simply because of the fact that it's not humorous at all in this day and age and knowing that, I will make the assumption that the man himself is pretty outdated and immature in his humor.
Is that a fact? No. But it is a pretty fair guess. The guy could be amazing and funny and great. But half the time I'll just go on my way since nothing in particular sticks out to me about him.

Look, I just wore a shirt, and by magic, I floated in the air, spun around, and became a douchebag, magically.
Some people have the ability to see past that. Most people don't. It's not a bad thing, it's simply going for what you like.

A blow to my defenses but I'll be ok. I stand by my argument.
