You forgot the SciFi. I'm reading EVE: The Empyrean Age. So far is great. First paragraph: The first experience of life was a bright point of light followed by the sound of a distant, muted whispers. A flood of sensory information registered self-awareness, when just before there was only a sea of blackness. A new mind took inventory of the world surrounding him: his chest, rising and falling with the sensation of air rushing into his lungs; the taste of saliva and the contraction of throat muscles as he swallowed; hands that opened and closed into fists as he commanded; all virgin experiences, so it seemed, for a man who was just born inside a coffin.
Sci-Fi and Fantasy.
poll closes on the 1st of september 2034, i think il wait to make my decision
I love books about fictional science.
Pop-out books. They so cool.
Adventure, maybe some sci-fi idk...something interesting.
I like reference books and shit about real life mostly. Although I have a soft spot for Dexter.
Investigative thrillers.
I usually read Magna. :)
Horror and High Fantasy, but seen as it's not there, I picked Horror and Fiction.
Science Fiction, but seeing as that's not there, I picked Other.
Simon Scarrow is a great fictional, yet historical writer. For example, his best selling book Centurion is based around the Roman-era, with the people who were alive in those days, but he just adds his own characters and bases the story around them. Usually involving them in history-changing events. Such as conquering Britain and Germany. Great read: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Centurion-Eagle-Simon-Scarrow/dp/0755348362/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1263049911&sr=8-1 It has lots of gore in it, and some erotic scenes. To me, books with this always make it that much more interesting. Nothing gets me feeling a book like a battle scene where a Roman Centurion is leading his men at the front of the ranks, it gets me so immersed in the book. It's great.
ayn rand/science fiction
ayn rand
>:( I picked historical fiction and humor. Hitchhiker's Guide is humor, right?
I only really like fact filled books.
Humor, Fiction + Non-fiction and Thriller but you forgot to add it to the poll.
High Fantasy/Science Fiction and general fiction with some romance thrown in.
Magna
Fiction/sci-fi the more unrealistic the better.
Fail poll. How do you have 10 options and none are Sci-fi/Fantasy?
I like how you put "Fictional" and "Religious" separately, that's funny.
Fictional; includes Comedy, Action, Horror and Science Fiction. I'm not really a big fan of Fantasy stuff, but I read it sometimes...
for real I like any thing world war, but not a history book like manga.
