Well, they don't. Look, this one didn't even get fired for treating a call as a prank, and someone died because of it: http://www.wftv.com/family/8529743/detail.html
That's what I was thinking of. That woman needs to lose her job.
Late, but funny.
lol
Holy shit 5-5=5 :aaaaa:
Holy shit 5-5=5 :aaaaa:
It's a paradox. You buy 5x GTX480's, then you hide them. When you turn around, they're still there.

The operator was pretty nice about it, probably had a story to tell his coworkers later.

the sad thing is the operator didnt give him the answers because he didnt know them O.0
Don't we all wish we could call a number to get homework answers from a trusted service?
Operator was awesome.
I didn't have subtraction (or any math for that matter) when I was 4...
The operator was awesome. You could tell he got some buddies around there when he said "It's the mother..." Like they were listening in on the call too. It was cute though. Poor kid and his take-aways.
In Preschool, I did Addition and Subtraction.
That was kinda cute [editline]10:10PM[/editline]
In Preschool, I did Addition and Subtraction.
WELL WE DID TAKE AWAYS AND GIVE AWAYS :downs:
Must be refreshing for this sort of thing to happen now and again
the sad thing is the operator didnt give him the answers because he didnt know them O.0
He couldn't
I think the operator was just trying to keep him on the phone until they figured out where he lived, which doesn't take long
My little brother dialed 911 once then hung up immediately. Literally seconds later the operator had called back asking if everything was ok. So no. They know where you are the moment that an operator picks up.
GIVE AWAYS :downs:
Wouldn't you still be losing numbers? You're just being nicer about it than taking them by force. Wait... The kid was doing take aways? Not give aways? So he's doing the more aggressive of the two... Oh my God, it was all a code for a terrible murder! Guys, that mother is tied up somewhere in a basement by her "four year old" son!
The mom part was awesome.
Late, but cute nonetheless. [editline]06:19AM[/editline] You can't really expect a 4 year old to call them "Subtraction problems"
Well when I was 4 we called it minusing.
Related: At my middle school, two kids called 911 because they didn't like the teacher, and when the teacher found out, he smashed his fist through the overhead projector in the middle of that class. He then yelled for five minutes, causing so much disruption that our teacher on the other side of the school went out into the hall to see what was going on. Happened in 7th grade. Back on topic: Yeah, kids would do that.
I thought it was cute. And the fact that the operator wasn't an ass was cool. "You said to call them if I needed help. I needed help with my math." "I didn't mean the police!"
How the hell did you misquote the video? [editline]12:23AM[/editline]
I think the operator was just trying to keep him on the phone until they figured out where he lived, which doesn't take long
Because cops wouldn't have call display in this day and age.
Guy sounds like someone I'd want to be friends with.
that mom sucks
fake
Reminds me of when I called 911 at a high school when I was really young and just hung up the moment I heard the operator come on.
Reminds me of when I called 911 at a high school when I was really young and just hung up the moment I heard the operator come on.
So what happened yesterday anyways?
Hahaha, the operator just went along with it.
The mother sounds abusive. If you need help with math, call someone? Really? He's four, can you not help him with it?
