Anyway, you get used to it eventually, I've almost found a comfortable way of skill rolling and it's taken me 3 months to get it to the current stage.
Parkour seems fun, but it also seems really hard.

It is when you start. At first, you feel like there is nowhere to practice, but as you get better more opportunities open up to you and you start to feel a lot more confident.
The roll is probably the most vital thing to learn, if you don't learn it, you're fucked. You also need to learn how to land properly and how to do some basic vaults. Check out some videos on Youtube, that's how I got started.
Basically what Wolfe said, but! Try vaults first. Also, all of parkour/free-running is actually having the balls to try and do crazy shit.
Yeah, just don't do stuff that you know is fucking insane and something you know you can't actually do until you're ready.

I may be hours late but I do parkour regularly and I've been training for a while.
It's not "getting the balls to do some crazy shit". You have to work your way up to stuff that could be considered dangerous. Those guys you see in the videos have been training for years to be able to do the stuff that they do confidently/safely.
If I was you, I'd look up parkour in your city and learn from people who have been doing it for a while, although I am lucky in that I basically live in the parkour capital of the southern hemisphere.
