I think I just found my next purchase :D
Thanks BlueSaint.
Also this guy is a moron, you want at least three mags with you at all times, and that's the bare minimum that you want. And they should be hi-cap mags as well.
And to any new airsofters that may be reading this thread;
If you buy Crosman brand guns,
I will come to your house,
And kill you :downs:
You should buy all of your gear from places like Airsoftgi.com or something, I swear buy them, hell I even made a pledge to them;
"I pledge allegiance to ASGI, and all the cool shit they sell;
And to any other company who dare oppose them;
Make my day;
AND BURN IN HELL!"
If your carrying three hicaps with you then you are officially a noob. I carry five midcaps (600 rounds) on me when I'm trying to keep a low profile and I have enough ammo to last me an hour.
EDIT: I love that pledge, I'm gonna say that in the morning at school instead of the Pledge of Allegiance now :buddy: I'll post results.
90rds kept me good for 4 hours
Hi-caps make me sad. They basically promote spraying and they're so loud.
Where does your friend live?
I have some friends from the PET STORE and we are going to use some BUNNYS on him, they are semi-automatic BUNNYS.

7 Midcaps for my M4 keeps me good for around 3 matches at the least.
5 Midcaps for my AK74U keeps me good for around 2 matches at the least.
Why do you need so many rounds? You must burn through BBs.
600 rounds, low profile, ONE hour? I don't want to think how much ammo you use when you are high profile.

Okaay, how is having hicaps noob? They're not loud at all, and carry at minimum 300 rounds, which can last me atleast an hour and a half each.

I never use it all but I just put one in each mag pouch.
I carry 3 mid caps and one highcap as back-up.
The high-cap is full metal and came with my gun though.

I prefer the term "Well equipped", thank you very much.
Shit, I carry around 3 600 round AK highcaps, 12 66 round grenades, and 1 or 2 220 round grenades, and a claymore with 200 BBs in it with me most of the time. Or 3000 in the M60. That's when I'm in "Fuck your realism, I have 1800 rounds of AK ammo and sound like a high explosive maraca when I run" mode, of course.

Guess you're calling me a noob too. I carry 2 Magpul PMAG Midcaps, at least 3 or more M4 hicaps, and in bad games, an A&K box mag. Before that I used 4-5 M4 hicaps, due to the amount of cheaters we got here in the Bay Area. Then on top of that I got 3 mags for my pistol, and 7 shells for my shotgun, all of which I carry on me. When I go out, I intend to keep the fire up for as long as I can. I prefer not having to carry a bag of ammo with me and refill at the spawn point. You don't want to be in my way once I get pissed, I will light your ass up with the box mag on a lipo until you're back in your spawn even if it means I'm be lit up for a minute. I don't play nice with people who cheat, been around long enough and my patience has worn thin.
For CQB though, I can get away with just my 2 midcaps, a hicap, the pistol mags and shotgun shells. People tend to be more civilized in CQB around here, plus semi auto only helps too.
People always ask me for covering fire. Because of such I'm used to carrying around mostly highcaps.
Fuck, when did the population on this board get elitist about how much ammo you carry?
For me, there is no such thing as too much and it's better than having too little. Pretty much the same rules for Dakka around me.
Hicaps are pretty much banned or making it more difficult for hicap users at all fields in the LA area, everyone just uses mids.
Well I play MILSIM so its all about the low or real caps here. Sometimes its fun to use a hi-cap though and spray and pray a bit.

I second that L_Dawg. I mean on average I go through atleast 1500 bb's a game day, and thats when I'm not going trigger happy :smile:

I do MILSIM as well. Hell, I do MILSIM with government agencies as training. Its possible to do a perfectly good Military Simulation without using realcap mags.
Realcaps make LESS sense actually, since a single BB isn't half as effective as a single bullet, you need around 10 BBs to compensate for the lack of range and accuracy that airsoft guns have compared to a single bullet, therefore, Hicaps make sense.
I wouldn't say you need 10 bb's to compensate, thats a little bit much. If you have a good gun range isn't really a problem and you just need to pick your shots.
I think I read somewhere that three 6mm BBs equals one real steel bullet.
I think I read somewhere that three 6mm BBs equals one real steel bullet.
In terms of what
I think somewhere I read that that 9mm's go around 1000FPS, so you mean 3 BB's going around 350?
In terms of what
In terms of compensation for the un-bullet like properties of BBs and its effect on combat.
I forget where I read it, but it didn't mention the technicalities. I think the guy meant that in certain games, three hits = out.
Meaning how hard it hits and how well it stays in the air and stuff like that?
Meaning how hard it hits and how well it stays in the air and stuff like that?
Exactly. A bullet (Obviously) has much more range, consistancy, and penetration capability than an airsoft BB. Thus, more BBs are require to engage a target than bullets.
