What about transportation? Most popular cities have some sort of subway system, but why not have an above-ground monorail system?

Key areas along this circuit will have junctions that have rails that lead to the capitol city at the center of the island. Also, the train will have large windows so tourist can get a full scenic view as they travel from destination to destination.

This thread has rekindled my life long goal to make my own country. Once I get mine set up perhaps I could set up an embassy on your island for diplomatic negotiations.

And maybe the economy could be Laissez-Faire-style. And through industries, the government will gain it's money and even some resources through the products that those industries make." Basically, have economics and state more separated.
