I just tried playing mirrors edge and I love it, I also do a bit of this stuff too.
Not a huge fan of flipping, but I enjoy the running, jumping, and climbing aspects.
It also makes you look like a mega-douche.
Looks fun. OP, do you do it and if you do, is there a lot of technique to it or do you just go for it?
Well im gonna start this this summer, it's seems to be really nice, I just dont have really good jumps here.
Doing it to pass time is dumb. doing it to get away from someone following you, or as a shortcut is alright though
Would be cool if it didn't have a French name. Instead it's trendy and pretentious.
Thats what makes it cooler.
Looks fun. OP, do you do it and if you do, is there a lot of technique to it or do you just go for it?
Well you gotta start some where. So start by hopping over hand rails with you hands. So yeah just go for it thats how I started.

Looks fun but I have a pathological fear of anything that might produce embarrassment (Like jumping around in public) so not for me.
Looks fun. There are also many ways to vault but you can pick one to use. It's very easy.
Oh man, I love Parkour. It's so much fun and it's awesome seeing reactions from passers by like, "Wtf, how did he do that?".
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_o07JSf1z8&NR=1 I just cringed
It's a pitty I can't here. I live in australia, out of a small town. [sp]So, I screwed[/sp]
My friend's really good at parkour. It's cool and all, but it's kind of annoying because he's always doing flips and shit.
My friend's really good at parkour. It's cool and all, but it's kind of annoying because he's always doing flips and shit.
If he's doing flips it's considered free-running.
Looks very... Gravity defying...
Everytime a 14 old finds out about parkour they make a thread about it. We all know what it is, be quiet.
Sigh. Friends made this and thought it was hardcore. :smithicide:
I do parkour every once in awhile. It's interesting but i don't like it too much.
Doing it to pass time is dumb. doing it to get away from someone following you, or as a shortcut is alright though
It's a hobby.
Cool. Someone finally made a thread. I do parkour with ncpk. It's ncparkour.com if you are interested.

It's really too bad that the main representation of parkour conists of faggot jocks whose sports aren't in-season...
Yeah, it looks like fun, but I don't want to crack my skull open or become a paraplegic.
Parkour looks badass but their knees are probably shot after a few years of it.
Looks very... Gravity defying...
That's more free running.
Pretty good other than that though am i right?
I pray that this is sarcasm. It's not even Parkour.
I pray that this is sarcasm. It's not even Parkour.
Yes, sarcasm was used in the making of that post.
