But everything is so expensive there.

live in sweden, work in norway = lots of cash
What Cuel said. [editline]19th September 2011[/editline]
Scandinavia is cool. :v:
Sorry Inufin, Finnish people are considered to be sauna people who drinks vodka.
that's it norway we're not friends anymore
But I'm still pretty sure Finland is officially and considered by others to be part of scandinavia. tbh I don't even like finland and I wouldn't consider myself as a finn. I was born in England and I just happen to live here. :v: [editline]19th September 2011[/editline]
Sorry Inufin, Finnish people are considered to be sauna people who drinks vodka.
Umm, I thought we drink Koskenkorva. Vodka is drunk in Russia.
No doubt all swedes like their country. All communities of the world love their homeland and same with people living in Sweden. Love for our own country is just not measurable. Nice memories to discuss about homeland how does hiv cause aids (User was permabanned for this post ("Bot" - Pascall))
We share the same dream, OP! I came to the conclusion everything I like (Metal, Metal and mooore METAL) comes from Scandinavia... I sure would love to visit and/or live over there!
Umm, I thought we drink Koskenkorva. Vodka is drunk in Russia.
Ops. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Nahhhh, I'm just joking with y'all, we're good neighbours. ;)
Well I personally consider Sweden to be a pretty good place to live in. My main problem is the lack of any limiting of immigration and the endorsement of multiculturalism but maybe that's just me. Like some others said the Internet is good and social security is working quite well and all that stuff. I don't think you can go wrong with any Scandinavian country though as they are all quite similiar.
Good things about sweden. Free Healthcare Generous Grants Gymnasium is free this also include transport and food. "Infact you also get paid grants" University is also free, but food and transport isn't. "You can get up to 3000sek in grants or upp to 9000sek with loans". Cheap high speed internet. Cheap Food Very cheap living in smaller communities. Sweden is very very polite, especially inland and up north. Hot blonds and brunettes. Very nice nature and "Allemansrätt" meaning you are free to explore private/company owned forests/nature as long as you don't cause harm". If you are prepared to pay 33% on everything you earn, welcome.
live in sweden, work in norway = lots of cash
This will probably be the best possible thing you can ever do. You will be deemed a racist like me if you are a critic about it. Go north if you want it peaceful and quiet.
sill och potatis hur mår ni
Wow, this thread was about what Sweden was like, it turned into a scandinavian schoolyard :downs: Sweden is really over dramatized by the rest of the world. Celebrities are beautiful /=/ everyone in Sweden is beautiful Alot of rich people/brands etc. get well known in other countries /=/ everyone in Sweden get to business executives People seem to think that everyone are well-educated in Sweden. Though it only depends what kind of crowd you usually hang out with. No, it's not a politically awesome country. Welfare here is pretty neat though, if you can't get a job or somewhere to live you'll get 100/mb fiber and an apartment :v: The polar bears here are pretty cool.
Born and raised in Sweden. However I am of Iranian descent. Sweden is great all around but I find it a tad boring. I would actually like to move to Canada or something.
I am kinda biased to this since I am a swede as well, but in my opinion the only real downside to living in Sweden is our climate.
The only bad things about Sweden are the mass-immigration and the drug politics. Oh, and TV-avgiften.
Oh, and TV-avgiften.
Like anybody pays that :v: "Oh no, we don't have a TV. Never had. Sorry!"
The polar bears here are pretty cool.
[release]EHEM![/release]
It's... nice.
[release]EHEM![/release]
Sorry that you don't have any, Norway :saddowns:
And before anyone complains about the high taxes. I rather pay taxes then have to pay all my medical and school expenses myself. You don't actually notice the taxes that much. We're a community that takes care of each other, it's not everyone for themselves.
AWFUL Terrible sounding language Lots of homophobes It's cold and rainy. Summer fucking sucks.
Man you must live in a shit-hole of a town, with an impression like that. [editline]19th September 2011[/editline]
Luleå anyone? Am I all alone up here? Hello?
Is it true you pronounce it Lule?
Don't Norwegians consider Englishman as Mad Norwegians
~ sweden is terrible - finland 4 lyfe ~
I wouldn't mind living in Sweden. Non retarded moped rules. ( We can go 30 kmh till we're 18. And at that point, you don't even need a license to drive a moped. And you can go 45 kmh. ) Chicks, need I say more? Taxes are low, and prices on cars aren't fuckall retarded ( like here in Denmark, cause we have no export of cars. ) etc
Sorry that you don't have any, Norway :saddowns:
Watch it bro. :colbert:
I'm kind of sick of Canada because it's just America with free healthcare and our conservatives aren't completely insane yet so I'm considering going to Sweden or Norway. I want to go somewhere without a lot of Muslim immigrants, any suggestions? Also if I do move to Sweden would I be allowed to bring my airsoft guns with me or would they get seized by customs? Airsoft is my main hobby and I don't really want to lose a $700 gun.
Maybe not hating sweden as much as hating the forced teaching of the swedish language. Funfact: Swedish is the only subject that must be taught on all school levels in Finland.
I always found this terribly wrong. I know it's because Finland has always had strong connections with Sweden in business and there has been lots of migration etc but you're not exactly dependent anymore. There is absolutely no reason today to force kids to learn Swedish.
commie
Typical American attitude to it. But supporting people in need != Communism. You're free to do whatever you want. You can become rich own a lot of land. But if shit happens and your life crashes, you go through an accident and/or you loose your job and can't get a new one then your country got your back.
sweden is great if you like snow and rain
I reckon England is secret bro's with Scandinavia
