I wouldn't mind moving to Vancouver.
Honestly don't bother, the housing prices are so obscenely expensive that you'll never afford one, much less pay off a mortgage. [editline]18th July 2014[/editline] I hate this place so much that I'm considering moving to the US just because of how much cheaper it would be. Washington, maybe Oregon would be nice.
I've always wanted to see British Columbia and Canada in general But BC mainly

[editline]18th July 2014[/editline] I mean there are plenty of places in Canada that would be cheaper too.
The only rule for Victorians over on the Island is that we pretend we're more important than Vancouver. Also make fun of Langford. Forever.
Being a brown person, I am honestly terrified of Langford. Too many pickup trucks, man.
They forgot to include an irrational fear of travelling through surrey.
I live in Surrey and the place is absolutely fine and peaceful there. Everytime when I introduce myself to someone else who isn't from Surrey and tell them that im from there, they will almost always reply with "Oh really? I heard a friend of mine got robbed there once". It's funny at first but gets really annoying after hearing this nonsense over and over again.
last time I went to Vancouver I thought the little boats were cute and the Japanese food was really good that's all I remember and that was only 3 years ago. also i went to a gay club and I was confused
What little boats?

South Surrey/White Rock is dope though
I live in Surrey and the place is absolutely fine and peaceful there.
Surrey is the suburban ghetto full of people who can't afford a place any more west. You get the luxury of awful traffic on the Pattullo and three zone SkyTrain tickets.
Can someone explain this in a way an American could understand. I don't know what is going on in this thread and for some reason I'm getting really bad anxiety. Is this what being an immigrant feels like?
americans do their gas per gallon, we do it per litre. we pay a shit ton more basically. [editline]19th July 2014[/editline] and vancouver has jacked up gas prices anyways.
