youre not gonna find concert speakers capable of outputting 120dbs of sound at home.
A decent 2.1 is more than enough in a small space, tho. Or a good headset.
A decent 2.1 is more than enough in a small space, tho. Or a good headset.
Still not the same. The atmosphere at these events is awesome, that's why people go. Not only for how loud it is or just the music, no shit you can listen to it at home, if that was the only reason then nobody would go.
The thing is that electronic music is hard to actually play LIVE because on some tracks and styles there are just so many precise elements (for example koan sound or any neurofunk artist or such, the synth lines are like brain surgery) and instruments stacked on top of each other that it would be kinda impossible. Then again nothing is impossible, but Then there are people like tim exile who just improvise their stuff:
Judging by the size of the keys (+ the missing key) and the jacks, I'd say that's an original full sized MS-20. That's neat, I have an SH-101 (other synth in the video). Are you going to get the new Korg Arp Odyssey? It would compliment your MS-20 Mini very well.
Now that you mention it, the patch inputs are spread out more too. You're right, thats got to be the full sized model. I probably wont be picking up the odyssey, I'm leaning towards the virus TI2 It's got more of a digital sound more suited to drum and bass, the genre I specialize in.
Deadmau5 actually sits in his studio for half a day cranking out tunes and making his own samples.
Deadmau5 has used his own fair amount of presets too.
Im not really into dubstep electronic dance music but id love to go to one of those shows. It looks fun. Even though im kinda in that crowd of people that thinks that type of music is just pushing buttons, somebody pushes those buttons and makes some cool music.
It's some pretty sick pushing of buttons
Deadmau5 has used his own fair amount of presets too.
Never said he didn't. But other artists *COUGH* Martin Garrix *COUGH* and most other mainstream DJ/Producers use preset packs almost exclusively. Deadmau5 makes over the majority of his sounds himself, and creates his own presets to use later.
