They're as left as it gets. We're getting people from the far left, from the far right, and everywhere in between. This is one of the most diverse movements I've ever seen on the internet. Left and right, male and female, religious and atheist, white, black, Asian, you name it. Tons of people are coming out in support of gamergate. Strange bedfellows. It's almost surreal.

Guilt by association doesn't work, it never has and it shouldn't work because its more than likely going to be used as an ad hominem. She's isn't right wing because her narrative doesn't fit the conservative right wing. What she's stated and has said if you watch her videos is that things like Rape Culture has been blown out of proportion, that facts are either ignored or stretched past their tolerance. She still supports the core fundamental rules and ideals of feminism. You also forget she's a second wave feminist, second wave feminism focused more heavily on just women's issues. Trans and others didn't and don't figure into it. If you're going to hold her up to third wave feminism today, she's going to look conservative. If anything, her policies and arguments are heavily moderate and center isle when it comes to gender inequality. We're just so used to radical feminism because we haven't seen liberal feminism is awhile.

If you tell them that it hurts the movement though, not only is it clearly showing they are hurting themselves and something they care about, but they don't get the impression that it is some other group telling them to stop, but that it is their own peers within GG rejecting them for their bad behaviour. While it may not be the most morally upstanding way to deal with it, it is the most practical and prevents the million other issues that such a diverse movement will want to argue over from bubbling to the surface.
