Nothing makes people take you less seriously, even people who used to support you, than going and getting involved with Alex Jones and Infowars.

Which is why I have no desire to see anything from him. As it stands though, he's apparently just going to talk to them, not as a part of the show. That said, still dumb as fuck but not surprising that Alex Jones would want involved.

How is it not surprising?

Is it just me, or does it feel really weird that Facepunch hasn't seen must attention/flack from this whole gamergate scandal? Isn't it pretty much known that the majority of FP supports gamergate? Or are we left alone simply because we don't really have a vocal Twitter presence?

Facepunch doesn't really act out on the level 4chan and Reddit do, and Facepunch doesn't actively seek out new users or do much at all to make itself known. Facepunch basically exists, and grow by people happening upon it largely.

Pretty sure 4chan was in on the subway thing, too.

It's so weird seeing such an increase in mod activity on 4chan. Like that filthy fucking imageboard was like a constant for me, but jesus christ I never saw it this censored.

It might not give us the best credit in the world, but by god it'll sure as hell spread the message like an untamed wildfire.

He started the 9/11 Truther movement, he's not a conservative or a liberal. He's a legitimate conspiracy theorist who just hates government, period.

He didn't see much of it till around infowars started up. I doubt he did it just for the money at first, but the sudden influx definitely doesn't hurt.

Honestly though, this is right up Jones' alley; a group of journalists are working together to the point where they release the same shit in their articles, and taking bribes from devs of all stripes while collaborating with an equally-corrupt network of Bay Area anarchist-like academics and activists to turn video games into a "safe space" that speaks over minorities and demonizes white men while making games an "artistic" medium.
