Why do you think America's Army is a thing? It's a solid game and a solid recruitment/training tool.

To be fairly obvious this reminds me of when the creator of Encyclopaedia Dramatica was so overwhelmed by the beast she created. She tried so many attempts to get more advertising revenue by making SFW versions of the site but it wasn't attracting shit. She started deleting articles she disagreed with and lessening the harshness of the articles being created. Then one night she put the website under maintenance and deleted the entire thing, created a new site and boy did that fucking flop. Moot is going to literally do the same thing, he should've of learnt from ED

On top of all that the articles were terribly annoying to read (most entries had the word "nigger" at least 20 times). Knowyourmeme not only has replaced whatever ED was originally trying to accomplish, but it is also successful and presentable to people who don't frequent /b/ from 2007

Just remembered after submitting previous post that I've got another example - I used to have a female friend who was stuck in a long going shitty relationship with one really sad and pathetic guy who threatened her with suicide every so often to keep her from walking away. She finally told him to go fuck himself, and in around two days she finds out he went out the window in his apartment, 16th floor, kicking the bucket in the process.
