I had no idea facepunch was talking about this until now. What would be the "win state" for this whole debacle? Zoe Quinn can't make another game without being reminded of this, and I've personally never taken game journalism seriously, as will others after being accused of misogyny. As for the SJWs, obsessive political correctness has always been a problem that won't be fixed anytime soon.

They're going to push the gamergate side an inch too far with this. They think they have some indomitable position on this but really, the moment the gamergate side decides to drop the cordiality they'll get the internet hate machine they've been desparetly trying to portray everyone as. You shouldn't go looking for monsters under the bed, you just might find them.

I doubt there will ever be a win state for either side. Gamergate supporters keep finding evidence, while Quinn supporters are spreading false information on a much more aggressive scale and convincing people who are just joining in on this.

Honestly? My end goal is to have the fake social justice people respond in such a horrific way that they only prove themselves to be a bunch of nobodies looking to feel good about themselves. I really want to clean out feminism and the social justice movement so it can move forward again.

The win I see is ZQ goes silent for a few years, video game websites implement major reforms to cover game related news and not unrelated shit such as SJW-tier stuff, 4chan collapses (or doesn't) and that's about it However what will really happen is, ZQ will continue to defend herself, video game websites will continue on with their day but face heavy ridicule from the public until another scandal pops up, 4chan collapses into a new website (if the source is true) but dies anyway and people continue spitting in each others faces

Because for me, ideally I'd like to see heads rolling and quite a few media sites crashing down and burning to ash. I honestly don't give a shit what happens to people who started this. Fuck ZQ and five burgers. I want gaming media sites closed down so that next ones soon to appear will be smarter next time around. Realistically, however, just heads rolling will be quite enough. I agree with Jordax on this.
