Isn't it alarming how everybody on both sides are basically saying the same things about the other side? Both sides claim to be victim of harassment and bullshit accusations. It's really scary how there seems to be almost no real communication between GGers and anti-GGers. It's just two competing propaganda narratives for most people involved.

8chans /v/ will be getting its 100k GET today. To put that in to perspective, 7chan is only around 145k posts on /vg/ (their equivalent of /v/) and that's been around for years. 8chan is here to stay

One of the goals is to have better communication and more transparency.

Just because something is de jure a privilege doesn't mean that its users feel the same way. De facto, the overwhelming majority of *chan users feel that access to the imageboards is a right that can only be taken away when in violation of a specific rule. In reality, that's not what the letter of the law says. But the culture and image that 4chan has cultivated has led to most people (including the mods) looking at 4chan that way. The letter of the law becomes insignificant, because the general public is laying down demands and the foundation for what they believe access should/shouldn't be. Laws and rules don't matter when a large enough percentage of the public feels scorned.

I still don't know what it was about but I am researching it and will reply to this post if I know what went on. I didn't see the KingofPol stream, so I'm not sure what particularly happened. But I think people need to back down a bit about Liana K. I don't think she's concern trolling, just cautious about parts of GG. Again, I didn't catch the stream though, so I have no idea what happened.
