I've talked to Jenni a lot and I like her a lot. But I also think that she's barking up the wrong tree here. Personally, she's been very supportive of me, and she spoke out on my behalf when that bullshit a few threads ago happened. I was really glad for that and she wasn't going to put up with the bullshit I went through. But I also wish she wasn't as confrontational about these things. I wasn't on the stream, so I have no idea what happened, but I wish she came onto the stream with a more nuanced look at things. Honestly, I'm afraid to speak out because I'm afraid of getting doxxed. Like I have an idea for an article (nothing involving new research, just my personal experiences) but I'm afraid of losing my job or causing someone else to lose theirs.

I'm not afraid of speaking out because my Twitter account it only linked to my blog which no one reads anyway, I just don't wanna get sucked into a stupid argument over Twitter. My number one rule of the internet is don't touch the poop, and if someone else does watch from a distance while laughing.

Good news! Part 2 uploading now. Once it's finished, I'll officially start a thread on Videos & Youtube and move the Zoe Quinn stuff into a separate thread, just to make sure it doesn't get mingled with GamerGate. For now, here's the second upload image. I'm playing Red Orchestra 2 in this episode. Unfortunately the video had a rendering issue halfway through, so RO2 doesn't appear throughout; but it's there in the first 12+ minutes and closing section. I also decided to use "Biting Down" by Lorde as our theme, seems to fit pretty well. (Just in case there's an issue with DMCA, I'll also render a non-Lorde copy so we can get back on track right away). I'm gonna significantly cut the videos down for Part 3 and Part 4, even if it means cutting out some of the supplemental logs to go straight for the meat. As one person put it on reddit though, there's not much fat to cut. This one might have a little extra meat, but I actually ended up shaving off 10 - 12 minutes on the original recording for this one. Unfortunately, even if I slimmed it down to my three major points of withholding - withholding her abusive past, withholding her affairs while stating she would tell Eron, withholding her testing & STD information - then it would still be 30 minutes long in total.
