They say that censorship should be uncalled for, then they close down comments because they don't agree with the tone. They never address why people are angry with the figures mentioned, only that they are and that they're violent pigs. They conveniently ignore half the discussion so they can point out how great these people they're defending are and show how much money they're making under the guise of saying "hey guys harrassment is bad." Lies of omission are still lies. If I was writting an article supporting Russia in Ukraine and only talked about the good things Russia did and the bad things Ukraine did, therefore Ukraine is in the wrong, it would still be dishonest without ever presenting a factual falsehood. I don't think that ignoring half a problem is the right way to go about it. What was it that Internet Aristocrat said? Journalists investigate, they try to find out about all sides of the story. They shouldn't just stick to the side they agree with because they want to. There's also the fact that most of these places posted practically the same article within minutes with each other, almost like they coordinated it, but that's something else entirely.

The people sending these death threats are fucking idiots. They are going to fuck over everyone on their own side. Now about death threats, well, I wouldn't personally attribute any of these to a specific "side" of the barricade, regardless of who's receiving it. These are done by rouge elements who don't give a single fuck about who they screw over. They see an opportunity to do a certain foul thing, and they jump at it the next moment. It was unfair when our dearly respected opponents done that to us, and it's still unfair to be vengeful like that. We don't, we're not supposed to, have a narrative to spin in our favor.
