That Intel response is great. They minimize damage by not directly supporting GG, but they still continue to withhold ads from Gamasutra. Meaning that antiGG can't say Intel supports a "harassment campaign," because, officially, they do not. Yet Intel still is withholding support for Gamasutra indefinitely of their own independent choice. Intel basically looks like they're making their own conscious and thoughtful decisions without listening to mob mentality. Which empowers GG, because it makes GG's concerns appear to be something that total outsiders are observing and agreeing on.

The github guy is turned around against us. Thanks to the publicizing of the link, his subsequent time spent on LW's twitter, and our stupider elements he's pretty much set against gg. It just always plays like this: Initial positioning, People ask for an explanation, Person becomes outraged/incredulous, Dumber gg-trailing elements start posting shit like "you're going to lose your job.", Person is now 100% AGG. Inclusivity and a voice for all is so lame for actually being inclusive.

Y'know, people keep saying Zoe isn't relevant to gamergate, but since she apparently acts as a leader of the anti-gamergate side, since she was one of the contributing factors that sparked the Gamergate debate to begin with, and the fact that she is apparently brought up by every game journalist who keeps claiming that gamergate is about misogyny... she's definitely relevant enough, especially when she's being a weapon for AGG. "Look! She was harassed! She had harassing phone calls! Gamers are harassing her, and gamers are running Gamergate!" pretty much. Quinn is involved because AGG wants her to be. Proving how terrible she is will be a major win for the Gamergate side, because that can justify numerous things about her, and it means the journalists would be much less wise to use her as a weapon. Reimu has done well at opening the way for this. I hope the appeal goes through in court, because that will truly leave a scar right then and there. In fact, I wonder if Mallorie being a witness to her actions can help push the efforts of Eron winning in court.
