So by being loud and obnoxious you show how intelligent and informed you are. The only thing right about it is that she was dominating, but for all the wrong reasons. I never really bothered reading the reactions in Twitter, but this is oddly infuriatingly amusing.
Note:Bae is Danish for poop.
Quick, anyone got the clues that point towards the harassment originating from SA?
Wait a minute, do these people actually state the fighting against censorship is legitimate censorship because in a round about way, you have to actually sell your message? Do they realize how dumb this sounds?
I thought g+ chat was easy, start a FP group, get people in without video. I'm derping so hard after reading tutorials which go on for a while.
Its actually easy use your youtube account
Holy shit Wu is so fucking delusional, she even LOOKS like the old cat lady.
Im going to try as hard as possible to not pick that low hanging fruit that is the way someone looks. especially since that is being done against us and I'd rather not give up anything else to make us look like the bad guys.

Joking around for a bit is fine.
So after seeing the video she threw a fit and answered none of the questions and even used it to promote her podcast.

Do they realize how dumb this sounds?
These are people who think censorship and 24/7 surveillance aren't abrogations of basic rights, but useful social tools for making people do what they want. This happens when rich people who've never had an actual hard day in their life start telling other people how to think like them, regardless of their cultural or socioeconomic narrative.
For us most of it is now done, the Pandora's box has been opened and the big boys can go out and play. So far it has extremely one sided but now we can relax and wait for real journalist with real integrity to do their research on it, we all know how that will end.
But is there even such a thing? To be honest, though, I'd love to see this on Last Week Tonight. I doubt John Oliver would support GamerGate, but it'd still be fucking funny.

It's not GG but when someone is going to talk about GG quinspiracy is going to be brought up.
Its actually easy use your youtube account
the interface is new to me, the last time I I did something like this was google video was it wasn't live. (I'm going to stream like an idiot soon regardless).
I feel dissapointed right now. I tried explaining GG to my friends but I think they just blew it off as "just video game drama." At this point, I feel like it's gone pasthe pointvof being just drama
As someone studying marketing, I say that censoring every area you want to market you product to is complete bullshit done by over-protective marketing groups that think the product will fail if a single jot of public opinion about something is different from the marketing campaign. Things like honest Q and A sessions and staight information directly from the PR people and devs will endear people far more than paying off people on sites like NeoGAF to censor negative things about your product. Customers are not stupid; they damn well know when they're trying to be forced to like something and will react accordingly.

I've yet to have someone watch one of them and reply with anything but "Why are you even talking about zoe and sanctioning her abuse?". I'm happy we have those videos, but people aren't persuaded by them. I don't think anything will really persuade people.

I think the problem is people don't want to put time into educating themselves, either because they don't have the time or because they feel justified in their opinions already. It's even worse that people cling to the first exposure they get to a topic, just see Zimmerman case or the whole Kony 2012 thing. Imaginethis from an outsider's perspective too. Let's say they saw the HuffPo or MSNBC streams. What would be more credible to the average person, a well kniwn news station or some guy on the internet? I think even more important than having the correct information is having the correct way to present it. Anyways, just a rant, going to get back to class now.
I take issue with her taking issue stating we shouldn't pull advertiser support away. That's exactly what we should do since none of those sites listen to us. This isn't very nuetral. The writer uplays and brandishes the harrasements happening against women and then completely downplays the things being flung at GG.

Because people who want to say something, will do that regardless. Out of every five-six people you censor, one will go and find a bunch of like-minded people. That would inevitably be some other community. It wouldn't be losing a member of an audience - if only that, it's tolerable. People are kinda dumb after all. Not dumb - ignorant, that's totally excusable. You're also making someone else's audience bigger one person every so often. Even monopolists can't afford treating customers like shit for too long too often. Much less internet communities that exist in a field of semi-active competition.

She played up the reasonable discussion side. No one's doing that right now. I don't see any websites asking for a calming of the stupid hatred that's on both sides. But at least this one did.

this works right. http://youtu.be/qqFz4HsDaq0 can people hear me? I'll invited people to stream via facpunch pm if that works
To get hearts and minds even in perspective, we have to make sure we're heard. If not for the ad campaign, we'd never reach the public at all. Plus it's hardly an issue, honestly. We're misogynistic MRA right-wing fat nazi neckbearded bastards living in our moms' basements. Pulling ads hardly adds to that. I'll PM a few people after some aarons that will take a few minutes.
tweet was deleted. which is unfortunate. waiting to see if cameralady had archived it.

But I can also see the validity of her response for a calming discussion.
