They just signed a death warrant, that's a PR nightmare that can't be excused.
Especially when the guy more or less defended the twitter posts and has yet to take them down.
[del]If there is still room on the hangout I don't mind hoping in.[/del] Edit: Or not, just remembered I have midterms I need to study for.

done shes done Deleting the tweet just proves it so hard.
Pretty convenient that the names are either "anonymous" or cut out of the screenshot
Those seem like genuine posts, regardless. Do you think you know where they could originate from on 8chan?
I think we need to look at the real issue with that image brianna posted. red text on a black background. truly one of the worst design sins.
Is there a bigger image of this?
Trying to find unedited source image, will confirm that information. Actually, I am not sure it is quite relevant, nevermind. [editline]17th October 2014[/editline] http://i.imgur.com/ApkYQ0V.png Or .. maybe it is? The board cannot be affected by other mods, as I understand, freedom of speech and whatever. But ..

Yeah the actual text wouldn't hurt.
Couple that with this [t]http://i1.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/000/847/070/b0f.png[/t] for a knockout blow for when anyone accuses us of doxxing. Not only do we actively prevent doxxing or harassment, those with us who pursue intellectual discussion on GamerGate get targeted by Anti-GGers
It's all fine and dandy having names, but having a pastebin with images of their reactions/censored doxx pages would make this a lot more credible.

wait what is this? Edit: and it's now over http://live.huffingtonpost.com/r/segment/gamergate-in-the-media/54356bd178c90acf2a000a0a edit: jumped the gun. it had people who weren't like last time. Thought they had pro when neutral when I first saw it. I just have to say at least they are still running with it, but it's not going to be a cake walk. But I think clam people who can deal with confused and frustrated people to talk for gamergate who are also knowledgeable this is what would be killer.
http://live.huffingtonpost.com/r/segment/gamergate-in-the-media/54356bd178c90acf2a000a0a
holy shit the strawmen and generalizations are real. That NYMag guy geniunely thinks we care about LW while when the threats and doxxing were brought up Georgina was the only one who brought up the point that you can't prove it was GG and not some rogue troll. People really need to be more aware of the lengths we go to in order to smack down doxxing and harassing when someone brings it up on 8chan. Mad props to Georgina for weathering that storm though, she really was the only sane one on that panel.

If there's anything ever said from Nadella about the matter (unlikely, but you never know), it's going to be even huger than Intel simply pulling their stuff.
http://www.giantbomb.com/articles/letter-from-the-editor-10-17-2014/1100-5049/ God damn it Jeff.
How, exactly, did we jump from a group of knuckleheads bombing a Steam page for a game designed to, in its own way, help people better understand depression, to a hardened and politicized hate movement? How did we get from people arguing that Gone Home isn't a game to people harassing women in the video game industry while simultaneously claiming that they aren't? It's beyond the pale. And, preposterously, it's still happening. That might be the most shocking part of all. Despite my name often being attached to the conspiratorial "gate" suffix, I've never been a big fan of the term. So when "GamerGate" rose up to cover over a campaign of harassment with a veneer of concern for the ethics of games journalism, it more or less set off every single disgust alarm I have. Though I'm sure some good people have been roped into this mess under this guise, the ethical concern portion of all this is largely a farce, a fallacy. But the string-pullers at the core of this mess have managed to rope in some number of unsuspecting players who do, in fact, think that this thing starts and stops with outrage over perceived ethical violations in the game journalism industry. To those of you who have been led to believe that this is all about ethics in games journalism and not about the harassment of game developers, I'll say this up front. You have every right to not believe a word I'm saying here.

:)
Should've archived it.
Is there a bigger image of this?

Should've archived it.
Someone (not me) took the liberty to run it through archive.today. For some reason, archive.today only loads this image in chunks, so I had to refresh a few times, but here's an imgur mirror: http://i.imgur.com/hulkmla.png All EXIF data not included in that "quit your bullshit, Wu" tweet is lost however, as the 8chan link 404s now.
Wait so archive.today doesn't work when the original page is deleted? Or is it a singular problem?
Wait so archive.today doesn't work when the original page is deleted? Or is it a singular problem?
There is an archive of the 8chan post here https://archive.today/n22JL But it only archives the thumbnails, when you click them to enlarge it just links you to the original image on 8chan, which 404s.
Wait so archive.today doesn't work when the original page is deleted? Or is it a singular problem?
The image itself is archived, check the link in the --tweet deleted!-- image. It amazes me the amount of false-flag operation going on here, clearing nobody on 8chan wants that and yet Brianna instantly jumps on it after it is posted, refusing to acknowledge that everyone doesn't want to do it. This has gone beyond conspiracy theory and is obviously being faked - we just need proof somehow. At first I was 75% gamergate supportive because I thought these people were legitimately being threatened; but now I am a lot more feeling that they/people on their side are purposely faking it. It's ridiculous. Also fuck that "Had to run away from home" shit, she left for two fucking hours.
question, do people believe that were is a dichotomy within gamergate supporters, or is it fractionally there in a sense. Instance, sargon talking about people under the flag as feminists, and reimu stating he dosen't believe digra is a threat. Are there distinguished camps or are people under the flag feminists movement which have influence in this ordeal in that you can't separate them from journalistic corruption.
