Another example of Dev and Journalist being close friends resulting in positive press for the dev without disclosure of the relationship by the journalist.

It helps to have a word document with various links to serve as your own personal evidence pile. Much easier than trying to keep track of everything by memory.

Aside from the fact that trying to make it about sexism is the smear campaign intended to avert attention from the corruption.

1. I personally know 3 women in gaming journalism, one was driven out her job by an MRA neckbeard who said to her "white men are the new niggers, and can't get ahead in the industry anymore"; this guy is the [B]->EiC<-[/B] of a major New York based gaming site, I'll let y'all guess which(it ain't hard), but the myth of journalists circling the wagons full of saintly progressive women and transgendered children and cute puppies aganst exclusively male rape gangs armed with controllers is absolute bullshit.

How many twitters like the one from the CNET EiC is literally fuck you to the THOUGHT, even the INTIMATION of criticism... (btw the fuck you was directed to a female tech writer, so there ya go)

2. Show her the emails, it's there in black and white. It's been going on since ***1990*** since the days of sketchy deals in EGM and Die Hard Gamefan and the death of Computer and Video Game Magazine because the EiC and the pres refused to do tit-for-tat payola with Capcom and Midway. Years. Fucking Years. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrs.

3. I need to see proof of these attacks, and a throwaway twitter account is literally bullshit. Proof. Objective Inviolate proof, with a name and profile that can be researched unequivocally.

How are we going to convince anyone to support us when most of the info you find by searching is seemingly reputable sources denounching GG?

Advertisers have nothing to fear if the public image is favourable for their clients and not us.

Advertisers have everything to fear if the people they're sponsoring are shitting on their consumerbase and then try to cover it up.

It's just a matter of presenting them the right evidence showing what's been happening. Advertisers don't care about the politics, but they definitely care about their own image and being possibly associated with people who literally advocated bullying during anti bullying month.
