Seriously though, the site seems to be pretty sane and is properly disclosing any gifts received in the first sentence of each review. It's something I could see myself using if they reviewed more things I'd play.
(I want to see them reviewing Bayonetta, just for the moral warnings list :v:)

They'll probably give it pretty high scores though. I mean, they slammed the last of us pretty hard in the morality section (45%), but still gave it a 96% overall.

I find the Christian gaming website interesting. I'm not really sure I agree with the general idea of having two separate scores - scoring for ideology is highly problematic. But, I think there's merit in engaging with identity concerns without inherently saying "this game is bad for x."

man, it's really lame that somebody has to be so fearful at all, but it's a huge shame too when it's based on stuff that's actually not even happening. sometimes i wish i could have a nice, honest and friendly conversation with people who are genuinely afraid for themselves based on mass-spread misinformation. she seems like a genuinely nice person.

i'd like to reiterate, even though it's already what people are doing, but just be nice. be nice as heck. i think it's the most powerful thing you can do, especially right now. the biggest defense against people calling us hateful, is to just be not hateful. because we are not. people with half a brain will realise this and come to their senses. misinformation won't rule forever

I think it's 100% fine if marked as such - which this site undoubtedly does.
They also have no aggregate score that conflates the two.

In the end it's just a shorthand like any score at all.
Scientifically arguing that the Morality Score is fundamentally different from the Game Score is very difficult, the farthest you could go would likely be that the latter should be experienced similarly by all people but even that hardly holds in general.
