The quinnspiracy was talked of on three sites, a couple people in the know said there were going to GIANT repercussions, and when sitegoers asked how in the hell did these people know something was going to happen, things pretty much escalated from there, and it became known that "gamers are dead" was already in planning, just not so toxically tinged.

Would it be possible to notify the police/fbi that people are faking serious threats just to have people swatted? I know that all reports are taken seriously, but I feel as though it would be just much more funnier to see anti-GG laughing at some guy being swatted, and then they get swatted for faking a serious report and cry for help.

You know what I was mulling over in my head that it would be really really bad for gaming in general if another school shooting were to occur at this time because some moral blackhole would blame gamers ...then today .MSNBC may try running with this and drag gaming into the mud further than ever before. Expanding the scope of criticism to mainstream media may be warranted

It also leads to the side with the most endurance winning, not the most reasonable one. The effect is even stronger if group-think is involved because tired people will get angry about delays. (This is usually also readily seen in teacher conferences, where sometimes inconvenient themes will be pushed to the back to avoid discussing them. [trusted hearsay]) I think a lot of this group speech stuff is just "how to find a 'resolution' that seems good from the outside and keeps students quiet" instead of "how to actually solve the problem".

While they can certainly appeal that, again Cernovich has absurdly deep pockets and so does his lawyer, eventually they're going to run out of money and people willing to be drug into endless cases. Cernovich is an ideologue in the extreme, and is very very likely to hound them unto public humiliation and he is aware of which courts to attempt to get this venue to. If he gains traction, he will go for blood, and if he can get the actual callers/defendants to turn on Quinn, she is absolutely fucked in civil court. He can run a criminal case with city support, and if ANY of the charges come up guilty, these people are absolutely screwed in any civil setting short of getting Anita Sarkeesian as their judge.
