Remember that DSP's mod team on the forums all left him because he's a complete jerkwad. He'd be the worst warrior to stand up against all this.
But what if he just prefers to do it all alone? Like an ultimate warrior should? Anyway, he's the king of beating his head against the wall until one of the two shatters.
DSP is the warrior we don't need and don't deserve.
So DSP is the ultimate warrior then?
Try harder, not complain more.
So DSP is the ultimate warrior then?
"oh come on Im pressing buttons why doesnt anyone agree with me?" "wow this world is bugged, its glitched. everyone is offended"
So DSP is the ultimate warrior then?
my monitor goddammit That's kind of a touchstone on an entire shitload of other issues; this IS personal even though it shouldn't be; TB has been upfront that he's not going to risk fucking over his career trying to get one element of what is a very very multipointed, flowcharted all to hell issue. I've finally broken down and will be doing audio monologues via the youtubes to address a lot of that, but the simple premise here is TB is never going to cover everything because it's A he's only concerned with two issues, and B he has a life and a job, and wants to keep both of those figuratively and literally. No one person is likely to cover or stump for every issue present. The trick is acting like a normal human being about the subjects you're not particularly inclined to cover.
There’s a website being made that is basically an Encyclopedia Dramatica version of GamerGate. A potential resource to harass and attack anyone who stands up against the movement. I witnessed one of my friends being put on the wiki and I’ve just decided that I’m done. I’ve already got ED on my ass, I don’t need another hate group attacking me day and night. And frankly... video games aren’t worth the fight.
from dobson's lastest journal post anyone knows what website is he talking about?

I get this all the time, being told to remove people from the movement or from gamergate.
Gawker op, nerf plz. On one side yay no more shit, on the other side the shit will still be there :v:. Also mainly pro-gg people have gotten a notice to "improve" their behavior.
I don't fucking get it any more. From this, I can garner that anti-GG are allowed to be as biased as they wish, but Gamergate must contain only 100% facts and every single possible fact that might ever be relevant, and still get accused of being partisan. Gamergate is constantly, continuously abused of censorship to further its own goals, when I have literally never seen an anti-Gamergate voice be silenced on a pro-Gamergate website. Even when anti people (eg SPESSMEHREEN) come in here with misguided 'facts', we attempt to correct them rather than banning them (with the exception being Max who just came in to shitpost).
Remember that interview that Nero was going to do with LW3, but then she cancelled and went to a news interview? Now she's claiming that Nero cancelled the interview instead. ahahahahahahahahaha https://twitter.com/Spacekatgal/status/526833513732263936
Its starting to shoot themselves in the foot as the gamergate article gets more and more aggressive, which to me is not something a moderate wants to read. Then you have site rules and policies on wikipedia that encourage that behavior which makes it a one up war with making it even more aggressive.
I can ensure you that the article will be locked/redone at this rate, there is currently an investigation into the article (and has been for a bit,) and they haven't found any damning evidence yet to my knowledge since technically all sources were "reliable," however the editing has become aggressive and particularly biased, it will certainty attract more attention. Don't get your hopes up, though. It's still a democratic process in which a majority of people have a bias since it is an issue based on the internet, and it'll be hell before an administrator is banned from editing an article, it takes basically something very serious to happen. Ryulong has done this before and gotten away with it, mind you.
http://www.reddit.com/r/KotakuInAction/comments/2ke8wd/just_a_reminder_kotaku_did_not_change_its_patreon/ kotaku stahp

I believe that Kotaku writers are indeed entitled to pay into a game developer Patreon if that's what they need to do to access a developer's work for coverage purposes.
I'm not sure how there's anything wrong with this.
I'm not sure how there's anything wrong with this.
Maybe because it's horseshit. No developer will demand payment in exchange for letting journalists cover it.

Imagine being an indie developer with so little income you turn to patreon. What's worth more, another 10 dollars per month or the coverage by a big swanky online magazine?
HE'S GOING NUCLEAR
I am two minutes in and she has already lied about the new Giant Bomb hires. E: "I think that is a fantastic question and let me answer it very clearly..." Absolutely not a clear answer that barely answers the question in the first place.

Then how many indie game dev's update their betas or alphas per month. Developer's will give particular builds to people who preview games like article writers and let's players, because why not get free advertisement (some may not be popular so it's understandable if not everyone gets a free copy). If that person only allows their game through a patron paywall, so what you only have to pay once for the final build then cancel afterwards if you even care while there are plenty of other games to pre-occupy your time.
Oh Wikipedia [t]http://i.imgur.com/3ZsLTkx.png[/t] Pack it up guys! Its over cause they said so! https://8chan.co/gg/res/308968.html
Man, Briana got super snappy at the end of that interview. God forbid someone asks those hard hitting questions, amiright?
Man, Briana got super snappy at the end of that interview. God forbid someone asks those hard hitting questions, amiright?
And the thing was super tame too. No wonder Milo's interview was declined. Imagine the reaction to him asking what was she thinking when making up the threat that gave her those minutes of fame. Just nuclear explosion right on the spot.
So according to Boogie's twitter he may or may not be going on MSNBC tomorrow to talk about GG. If this does happen, let's hope it helps change peoples minds about GG. Probably won't, but still...
Man, Briana got super snappy at the end of that interview. God forbid someone asks those hard hitting questions, amiright?
They weren't even hard hitting. They were actual questions that need to be addressed and cleared up from the source, which of course she will not answer.
