Why is her twitter uhm "thing, dunno what it is called" "@TheQuinnspiracy"? I thought the use of Quinnspiracy came into use after the whole thing with the Five Guys.
No, she had it first. It just made naming the controversy very convenient before gamergate was coined
My BIGGEST Issue with all of this is the new trend going around, saying "horray for the death of the gamer". That's the ONE THING that I literally cannot fathom, for more than one reason. "Gamers" aren't dead, but the fact that they WANT them to be truly betrays their intentions. It's like I'm reading some satire on how the feminists are going to "destroy the industry", except it's not satire.
This is the worst part to me. On twitter, tumblr, all this shit. It started with jontron. SJWs have resorted to insulting people for their looks, and what they enjoy doing with their lives. These are the same people claiming to champion LGBT rights. Trans rights. They represent /ME/. And they're making fun of people for how they look, what they do with their free time, and their hobbies. It's like schoolyard bullying, and the journalists are supporting them. Behavior like this in ANY OTHER INDUSTRY ANYWHERE would result in immediate termination. And in the end, I'm still the bad person for speaking against it to these people, the same people who bully people who are already social recluses. I am so, so, fucking ashamed.
Sorry for the rant, but my god.

Donotlink.com still allows those sites to get revenue
the Site of choice is http://Archive.today , it caches the entire page. even if they make edits or remove the page this site will keep it preserved.

Well they get revenue but they won't be bumped on google
Just couple that with adblock and then you cut off any possible revenue

I wonder if they have lost their sponsors, or are just hiding them so people won't contact them to stop sponsoring IGF.

That whole retweet thing doesn't really prove anything.
Anyone can remove that from their browser for a screenshot.

All of that proof in that screenshot could easily be faked by anyone with even a little bit of knowledge of how to use a browser developer console.

Adblock Edge is being recommend if you use firefox since adblock still lets some ads through.
Wait...If this is apparently Zoe flipping the screen off, then where is the long fingernails?
Anyone?
Anyone?
She doesn't have long fingernails
or at least i haven't seen any picture or video of her with long fingernails
She doesn't have long fingernails

She has fingernails on twitter.
Wait...If this is apparently Zoe flipping the screen off, then where is the long fingernails?

Anyone?
As noted a couple posts higher, it's quite possible that this one is just a master ruseman of /v/ doing his usual thing. The changes to make it look like you posted it are fairly easy to do, there was a similar one with Phil Fish back when he first "quit", and the tabs could only get more blatant if one was the Five Guys official website.
In the original picture it's too dark to see her nails, which are painted black. So it could be faked, or it could be real.
OH SHIT

So I was lurking on the Something Awful's GamerGate thread and I saw this long ass post that caught my attention. Apparently, SJWs were pretty much born straight out of SA's FYAD section.

Was this posted yet? If it was lemme know. Cool video.

Plus the "Hey Phil, are you still there?" is painstakingly obvious, and the dropbox thing proves nothing except the person who took the picture and posted the picture are probably the same. If Zoe were even out to set up a false-flag twitter operation she would be smart enough to at least log out, and not leave Fish's name plastered all over the browser tabs. What would make me most suspicious of a false-flag is if it were a single window with a single tab and a logged out user, like it was staged just for the picture.
Spiegel Online, a rather popular German newspaper, is now reporting about the Gamergate as well.
Of course, they also jumped on the Sarkeesian bandwagon and there's no mention about what the actual problem is about.
edit: also, I think Quinn and company is now trying to ridicule the entire thing by retweeting "#conspiracy" over and over.

Looks like they'll emerge victorious and the corruption will be buried. It's only too bad they alienated most of their reader base and potential customers in the process, because the people adamantly on their side -won't- be the ones to invest any significant money and time into playing pretentious indie games.
I hope this will strenghten the "enthusiast press" in the long run. People like TB, who emerged into game journalism due to a desire to discuss and critique videogames born of their enthusiasm instead of people who decided to 'grace game journalism with their presence'.

Can you report twitter accounts for posting Goatse?
Because he or she did...
In case he/she deletes it: http://imgur.com/NjEB72h (censored by me)
In any case, more ammo for my collection of terrible people on the Quinn side

Honestly, Poe's Law is in such great effect that it's hard to tell the difference anymore.
Let's be honest: feminism is one of those rallying calls that no one in any position of real influence will want to oppose or call out, no matter if it's just exploited as a flimsy excuse to form a lynch mob, It's a sacred cow. In this regard, liberalism has the exact same pitfalls as conservativism: they both have those slogans, buzzwords, sacred cows no one dares oppose or criticise within that side, because it immediately causes them to be singled out as traitors, and if the lowly majority does so they will be ignored, no matter how democratic the system claims to be.
This might be semi offtopicish but people really call themselves gamers?
This might be semi offtopicish but people really call themselves gamers?
its a easy term to use to describe those that like video games
like the words "moviegoers" "music lovers" & "fans" to describe those that like movies, music, etc.
I've always regarded myself as more of a general nerd, anyway
